Are you serious? It's a miracle if Grand Theft Auto V ran on the PlayStation 3, let alone the PlayStation Vita, or even the PlayStation Portable. Anyway, I think Rockstar Games will release a mobile version of Grand Theft Auto V as a 10th Anniversary Edition in 2023.

Also, Sony doesn't support the PlayStation Portable since September 15, 2014.

It will come to mobile phones before it comes to any portable gaming device. I've come to the realization that my PS Vita will never see a big budget AAA exclusive ever again.

I really hope you meant Vita lol.

I think GTA V on Vita would be possible, but wouldn't be profitable for Rockstar.

Think about it, for example resolution of 854x480 is over 2x lower in terms of pixels than 720p and 640x360 is over 4 times lower.

Would look more like PS2 game graphically but be based on PS3 version of the game.

No I meant PSP, Playstation Portable.

I don't have a PS Vita.

That just makes the question dumber. Like I said in my first post here..

Seriously? The PS3 version of the game wouldn't be able to run on a PS Vita, nevermind the outdated PSP.

In remote play it's good, on the vita anyway. Weird to have such a big game on a tiny screen but it looks good and is mostly smooth. The touch screen in L1 and R1, the sticks feel too small it's not something I've tried more than once.

You can get Liberty City stories and vice city stories on PSP, I'm not sure if ps2 classics are on PSP, if they are you can get the 3 older games too. They feel awful to play now becuase of their age, very clunky, horrible driving, the aiming especially is sh*t, compared to games from now. Get used to playing ps2 era games again, it'll take a few hours, and you have some good alternatives.

wat.

GTA was meant for consoles, go play LCS, VCS or CW if you want a portable GTA.

wat.

GTA was ported to mobile phones, go play III, VC, or SA if you want a portable GTA.

OT: I didn't even think the PSP was still powerful enough to play newer games. I thought it died off before the Vita came into existence. There's no way HD games would play on a handheld that's nearly 10 years old. I don't even think the RAGE physics could be simulated on the PSP.

Apart from the thread idea, a new GTA on 3DS would acutally be pretty awesome. Imagine travelling through a city and countryside with stereoscopic 3D-effect. Eye-candy! 3DS is pretty powerful, hopefully R* will recognize that.

But PSP isn't supported anymore, OP. It is outdated. If you want mobile gaming I recommend you a PS Vita or a 3DS.

It's more likely that sunken San Fierro and Las Venturas can be found in GTA V than GTA V getting released for PSP. ;)
