Top ten reasons why GTA V sucks and Rockstar Games are lazy.

1. The map sucks, unmemorable.. 70% is just open space and hills.. and only one city area? San Andreas and GTA III's maps put this to shame.

2. Cops are extremely dumb, terrible A.I.

3. Heist missions sucked and there were only 4 of them or whatever.. 2 ways to do them? Yippee! It's lame that they hyped this aspect up so much in the trailers.

4. Missing a TON of features from the previous 5 games. Rockstar got lazy.

5. Game feels empty as hell when you complete it, probably the only GTA game to leave me feeling this way aside from GTAIII (which had a good excuse to feel empty as it was 2001)

6. Campaign was too short.

7. Pre-determined traffic during some missions, extremely lame.

8. I again mention how empty the world feels, it deserves to be mentioned twice. This game lacks the personality and liveliness of IV.

9. Speed cap on vehicles.. Try going down a hill at full speed in the fastest cars and you'll suddenly hit a limit. What the hell?

10. Driving physics suck ass. IV was a lot more unpredictable while driving and unpredictable is FUN.

I will NOT be buying the PC version, and I will not be buying the next GTA game following their failure to make a true sequel to IV.

4. Missing a TON of features from the previous 5 games. Rockstar got lazy.

And what are these ton of features from the previous "5" games ?

The aerial perspective from Grand Theft Auto 1 and 2 ?

The mute protagonist from Grand Theft Auto 3 ?

you try hard , arent you ?

Top reasons without giving any order are simply :-

> The rising: GTA ONLINE ( note: its not the normal multiplayer I hate but a separate online game world altogether which affects the quality of the SP )

> The direction: Lets get rid of a lot of the freedom and fun in favor of REALISM !!

> The lack of surprises ( originality ): A lot of other open world games have way better and interesting variety of features to offer compared to over 15 years to the series and all they seem to waste their time and resources upon the graphics, immersion and attention to details. They need to know that no matter how great the city looks and the atmosphere of the game is, if there is really nothing fun to do and the world feels empty with all those graphics then the game becomes boring to play pretty soon.

That's all.

Don't make threads with such bait titles. You immediately make yourself look like an asshole and lose any credibility you have right off the bat.

Homicidal Hipster

Your user name is respectiseverthing but you sure don't respect all the work rockstar put into gta v a game they spent 4 years on, they extensively researched Los Angeles captured 250 thousand photographs and countless hours off video footage

They even spoke to FBI agents who have been undercover, mafia experts, street gangsters who know the slang and they even went to see a proper prison. Dan houser even stated that the games open field research was the most demanding aspect of the game, they watched documetries about the city. They certainly are not lazy if you don't like the game fine but don't call rockstar lazy just because you dislike the game

There are people who make games, and people who complain in the forums.

Lazy this, lazy that....

Obvious click bait... congrats I fell for it. You don't know what sucks if you're going to say GTA V fits in that category.

Try being a fan of Forza or Driveclub. I actually made similar post regarding Horizon 2 on 360 for what they did to fans. Like lying about the game having DLC planned in the future to only tell fans just before the game comes out. Many of us didn't even hear about this. Then the day AFTER the game was out they announced no patches, no updates and no fixes. Which sucks because the game is a glitchy broken mess. 4 out of 5 times when you pull up your list to either change cars or upgrade them your game will crash. And that's just dealing with not being able to play the game, when you actually can you have to deal with even more game breaking glitches.

And for posting this comment and inciting a boycott against the franchise I was banned till the year 2047.

While Rockstar continues to release FREE DLC for their mega triple A title game. They know they could charge money and people would buy it but they don't. They get complaints regarding character's being deleted so instead of patch it a few months later and just say ok your good. They go and give every character $500,000 just to compensate for time lost to leveling up characters. And that's more than what other companies will do.

Is it San Andreas? No... is it GTA 3? No but it's a damn fine game. It's fun and easily worth the original $60 asking price, whatever it's at now is a steal compared to other games.

You're the 1st world problems of gamers. This is a great game, you say it sucks. While I'm a fan of horror games and I have to watch countless gaming series get flushed down the toilet because Capcom and Konami want to try and make mass appealed games to rake in Call of Duty money. Capcom didn't even hide that comment they said it in an interview and said ""Looking at the marketing data [for survival horror games] … the market is small, compared to the number of units Call of Duty and all those action games sell. A 'survival horror' Resident Evil doesn't seem like it'd be able to sell those kind of numbers." Basically f*ck you fans we want money.

And you have the nerve to complain about GTA V?

Whats great is someone saying "Is it as great as the past? No but that's ok with me" Don't blame people for having higher standards then yourself..

lol. i can believe you when you say that you wont buy the pc version, but dont exaggerate. we all know that you'll buy gta 6 when it comes out. this game didnt live up to my expectations either, but i'll definitely be getting gta 6.

on topic though, i would like to reinforce the main idea here with a small feature which i despise in the longrun, since it shows just how screwed up the attention to detail in this game really is. i dont like how when i spawn as trevor drunk and sitting on the ground in chumash, the SAME fat chick in the bikini walks by in the same damn spot over and over again each time. i also dont like how sometimes i swap to trevor when he's stnading by his cuban 800 hangar in sandy shores and then i see the same biplane pass by overhead each time, again in the SAME spot each time. rockstar really dropped the ball with the immersion in this game. lots of details feel arbitrary and superificial.

I love how you had to state the same thing twice because you couldn't think of a 10th reason. Predetermined traffic? - GTA IV had that, I'm not sure about the others but it sounds like that's what you're comparing it to.

Driving physics? Mehh. To each their own, nobody can say either is realistic that's for sure, but GTA V is more fun IMO. Although, they needed a speed cap in last gen to compensate for low framerates and details not loading fast enough, we don't have that I don't think in the new version. Seems like the speed is up and the details load a hell of a lot faster.

Cops are a lot smarter than in IV. It's actually a challenge to get away from them but, Online cops suck as you can't be within 100 yards of a crime and mind your own business without having to deal with Johnny Law.

Care to elaborate on these "missing features"? As much as I can remember, you couldn't fly a plane in GTA IV, nor could you drive a monster truck, rob stores, attack armored trucks, purchase properties, participate in drug trafficking and arms transporting, etc. That being said, this game is more than GTA SA and GTA IV combined when it comes to features. Also, what exactly could you do in previous games after you finished the campaign that you couldn't do in this title? IV is basically hooker f*cking and car driver after you take out Pegorino or Dimitri.

This is the first time we've ever had any sort of heist missions BTW, except for the bank robbery in IV with Packie McCreary where it was a travel, shoot, and run mission. No planning, no route mapping, no crew cuts in the scenario, so as far as heists go, V is still in it's testing days and probably won't fully perfect heists until VII.

Lastly, you bitched about the map, capturing most of Los Angeles' memorable landmarks and even subtle areas while having a diverse countryside full of the drug dealers we all love. The map is more interactive and the characters are more environmentally dependent than past titles. Yeah, hood rats in Broker, most of the drug lords in Alderney, and all of that mixed in together in some locations. Whereas, you got fake celebrities in Rockford and Vinewood, low-level hustlers in the Grove, international drug traffickers in the desert, Jimmy's pot dealers downtown and in Vespucci Beach, etc. Yeah, not diverse at all - we can't forget about the main point though with the geography. You gotta the amazing windy roads that every car enthusiast loves, the straight highways and airfields for drag racing, an exceptional rock climbing range (Trust me I know about this, I was in an offroading crew for about 7 months and we found basically every hill in San Andreas), and you can't forget about the nice small town of Paleto Bay that The Good Ol' Sgt. Scooter is running.

So yeah, my 2 cents.

I may agree with almost every single point, but tenth! Vehicle handling in IV what made me hate it so much and what i hoped would change the most with V and it did! Unpredictable is a wrong term to describe situations, when your car feels like it is filled with lots of heavy rocks, while driving on ice (All sliding endlessly and unrealistically and such...)! Imho! A lot of people complain about it and it got changed, now lots of people complain about it not being like it was in IV?? WTF now?! Can you make up your mind once and for all, coz it seems to me some of you don't know what the heck do you want! You people asking for old handling piss me off with your disgusting behavior! If handling not being like it was in IV is selling point for you, then go play IV and leave V maybe, or dunno?! Coz i'm sure a lot of people are fine with what V has to offer! (not saying too much impressed, but just fine...)...To be honest i'm not that satisfied with V's handling myself, but IV is definitely even WORSE than that, not other way around! When people call V's handling bad i basically agree with them, but when they start to name IV's handling as an example i can't get it them seriously!...Its like just...NO WAY!!...

Some of you guys are going to make people turn even more against IV because it is becoming associated with these kinds of fans.
