GtaFanatik
OG Solo isn't much of an actor, they just needed a black guy from the west coast. He probably got the part because he's Young Maylay's cousin.. DJ Pooh got him the gig, he was a Gangster NPC in San An' also... he's no professional actor, you're right. DJ Pooh was writer and co-producer of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, he had a role in GTA:IV that I don't remember right now, and he's the co-writer of Grand Theft Auto: Online. He have an important role in the company since 2004 and is friend of OG Solo, so he "introduced" him to Rockstar. What a shame he wasn't friend of Ice Cube or another African-american gangster stereotype actor that could do a better and more inmerssive job than Solo (I know that some of you don't agree with me, but the main story doesn't change with/without him...) Ouncy
There's no secret as to why they're not in big films. It's because they're just not very good actors. They're at soap/crime-drama level at best. ItsJustMeSrsly
Dope_0110
Rockstar don't give a sh*t what happens to their actors, all they care about is $$$ And they are supposed to care... WHY? Rockstar is a company that needs the services of actors from time to time. They announce a casting, choose those they deem best for the job, give them a job to do and pay them well, the contract is fulfilled and everyone goes their way. Why would Rockstar have any further involvement in those people's career? Rockstar is not an actors guild, it doesn't manage actors careers, doesn't have agents for actors, doesn't have full time in-house actors employed there and doesn't need them.. you know why? Because Rockstar Games is a GAME MAKING COMPANY.... incredible isn't it? Official General
John The Grudge
GTA V might have sold 45 million copies but it's still just a video game. It's just a job and it's unlikely to have any impact on their careers. It's not a big deal. ItsJustMeSrsly

phillipshead
Looking at Ned Luke's IMdB page it appears he has completed work as the lead character on a TV Pilot called "Unfiltered" which is currently in post production.
Ixnay
I can honestly say I've never considered this. I don't know; I think acting is more than just reading lines, even if you read them well.
StJimmy
Steven Ogg is in the new Goosebumbs movie as the dummy I believe, and hes also in a new HBO show with actors like Anthony Hopkins and James Marsden called West World, so ya hes doing well.
