Modders gone on PS3?

Has anyone ever thought of putting a logger into the "mod" download and stealing the jerk offs accounts and bricking their consoles? Theres an idea....

 

 

 

and with Swatting being all the rage right now, sick some K9 units on them while were at it

Why get so mad over it, it's just a game.

 

Youre assuming Im mad... It takes alot more than some kid running a script to rustle my jimmies m9. Hack me and shut down my RIG and I would be mad. Post sh*t on my wife/kids FB and ill get mad. Cheat on a video game and I couldnt care less

 

I just think this would be a funny joke to play on people that think its funny to play these jokes on people. You know the whole bite off more than you could chew thing and all

 

You just came across as very bitter. It's not like people with CFW can do anything damaging anyway. Sure, some can be annoying, but that's no reason to 'brick the jerk offs consoles'.

Modders aren't this games problem, it's the people who take this game way to literally and treat it as though it's their life.

 

They want to have fun at the expense of others. I have never encountered a modder that didnt do anything to others in the lobby. Be it teleport you to somewhere and make you dance or blow you up like the place is littered with land mines or even constantly kicking you out of your car. I just leave lobbies with modders but at the same time it would be a laugh if someone had a joke at their expense for once.

 

If I was you I wouldnt worry because you already have your modding tools right...

 

I always have fun with other people when I play, but not at the expense of others. Other members here can vouch for that, I'll help anybody out if they need it. Most of the time I'm in passive mode when I get Online, or I'm just doing races. Just the other day I spent about an hour creating a huge stairway at the airport for people to climb and have a Stungun fight when they reached the top, sh*t was fun, took at least 5 minutes to climb and was taller than the Maze Bank, it was a bunch of us, none of whom I knew just having fun for a few hours. Sure, you'll get a few 'bad' people, but that doesn't mean you can label everyone just because you've had bad experiences, they can't even make you dance or teleport you on foot any more.

Besides there's a lot more you can do with a CFW PS3 than just modify games, that's literally just a fraction of what you can do. Honestly, I'm surprised more people aren't running CFW on their systems.

Exactly, go to the ps3 vehicle request thread and you'll see how I've helped out heaps of people, not once have I blown an entire lobby up, I have trolled a few people, yes, but I always drop them money afterwards,

I seriously hate the modder stereotype, and the r* fanboys who report for no reason, (-_ -)

Dealt with my first modder yesterday, something with the name PandaWarWish (not exactly sure) but something along the lines. I was running around the map having an all out WAR with everyone in the lobby and I noticed LITERALLY a money trail behind me and no matter where I went or what I did money just POURED into my bank! From many different forms and this new "Anti-Cheat" system I heard once modded money gets into your account you can either spend it immediately or risk having all your hard earned $ basically just taken away.. so in that case after receiving about $175k I treated myself to an Ocelot F620 (w/ mods) and basically had restocked ALL my ammo for all my weaponry. Went back online today and noticed my real money is still in my account which was a big relief! This was on PS3

I wish I would run into the non-douche modders. All the ones that I ever ran into were the ones that would grief everyone in the lobby. That's why I gave up on public lobbies a few months ago. If I ever became a modder, I would for sure be one of the fun and helpful ones. Since I don't want to get banned again, I probably won't become a modder.

 

Ever since I got into online gaming, I've always been the type that would help others. Even now, several people have found me through the forums and added me on PS3 cause they either wanted a Hearse or just wanted people to play GTA5 with. Just last night, I helped a level 5 go up to level 15 after spending an hour of doing missions. I enjoy helping people in video games. It gives me satisfaction when I do something good or helpful towards others.

Thanks and yeah it would be. I mean, of course if I was a modder and someone in the lobby was being a douche bag towards others in the lobby, then of course I'd f*ck with them.

I have yet to run into a bad modder. Sure I've been cannon fodder for jokes, but ive always gained from the after effect (just the fun times could care less if I get money-have never ask for when with someone who could)

No, Sony have patched spoofers, which makes modded consoles look like its on the latest software (when it's not), currently no modders are able to access psn, but a bypass is already in development, so it won't be long before theyre back

 

Too bad they don't keep accounts who couldn't log in and then look at those accounts for modding/hacking them perma ban them. Sorry but I believe that is what PC is for not Consoles.
