Don't tell me Rockstar doesn't care

i don't believe it, my friend recently lost everything, literally everything, money, modded cars, apartments and rp. He emailed rockstar a few days ago and got a reply back from them the following day, they told him how to regain his rp back. Then the day after that he emailed them again saying that he lost a lot of hard working money and apartments, and rockstar replied him back a day afterwards how to get those back too. Rockstar has been so kind and understanding, i really don't know why people are so against them.

My character was deleted and they only restored the rank and gave me $5M back. Thanks Rockstar for making me lose $20M worth of stuff including all the limited edition items I had, which was literally everything except that bike from Independence Day.

 

Also should add it took 2-3 weeks to get them to start giving my stuff back. Rockstar support is pretty much useless.

Well, people usually say they doesn't care because he shouldn't have lost all his pogress in the first place. They have a point, but still, I completely agree with you, I am very pleased with Rockstar's support (i've logged a couple tickets), GTA 5 and GTA Online (I know I'm getting flamed for saying this, but whatever!).

 

EDIT: Also, I really admire how they are responding to 100% of iFruit plate reset requests in the R* support page (only as a one time courtesy, you can't have it reset all the times you want). I had mine reset :)

Ran into a guy in game chat that was prank calling rockstar. He had been at it for like 4 hours calling non-stop. This is why some people at rockstar couldn't give a f*ck about you.

 

other's that are less jaded about their job probably help people.

 

 

Like any business there good employees and bad.

 

and good customers and bad.

 

 

I'd say its a business and doesn't have feelings.

When my account glitched, they handled it really well imo, I posted on here at the time.

 

Sadly people are far quicker to complain then they are to commend, so it always looks worse than it is.

Look OP,you seem to be a swell guy so I'm gonna give you the short version of the story,people on GTAForums LOVE to whine,if you wanna whine about anything...this is the place,their opinions don't really matter,so play the game and have fun,don't worry what people on GTAForums think.

Heists > shark cards > tanks > R* fix this > heists > shark cards > tanks > R* fix this > heists...

I think you get the idea.

Atleast tanks aren't an issue anymore....

I lost my beer hats a while back after the LTS update was released. They told me to basically clear my cache and delete patches to fix it. I did it, and it didn't work. They then considered it solved and closed the request.

Needless to say, I was quite pissed. Had 4 beer hats obtained from legit crate hunting. Lost 'em all.

Since you do not "Prove" something using one example. In this case your Friend receiving top notch support from R* Support. I can just Highlight a few cases were R* Support have not helped and claim they do not care using the same Logic.

 

I would believe they "cared" if they (R*) bothered to start communicating with the Playerbase more AND less people complained about R* Support on a frequent basis.

Since you do not "Prove" something using one example. In this case your Friend receiving top notch support from R* Support. I can just Highlight a few cases were R* Support have not helped and claim they do not care using the same Logic.

There, a case of Poor Customer Support and an assessment that R* Support is "pretty much useless" in this Thread no less.

 

I would say still being down $20M AND not being able to get Limited Items back is R* not caring. Seems like they just dropped in some Cash to save face.
