strange NPC accidents

Have you guys witnessed any npc accidents? I think its a bit strange that i witnessed one earlier today. It might be strange because its the first time it happens by itself. To me atleast.

One time while I was in story mode modding cars, I was leaving the garage that Franklin owns down by Grove Street. Well as I pulled out, two cars crashed into one another. As soon as that happened, the guys got out and then before I could blink, a lot of gang members started to shoot each other. I then called the cops and as soon as they arrived, they were promptly executed upon arrival. It was the first time to see such an event take place in GTA5 and it left me speechless.

Thats amazing! Its the little things that count in this game, forget about dlcs and delays this game is a work of art.

I was up by eclipse amd an ambulance parked on that hill when they got back in the ambulance rolled into the car behind so the guy got out and jacked the ambulance then the ambulance guys ripped the ped out and beat him to death and by that time the cops came and killed the paramedic. Funniest sh*t ever

The last time I played in free roam I saw a 9F driving at top speed and ramming into traffic and keep blasting down the road. I thought it was a player driving at first but there wasn't a mark on the map. I followed the car for a bit watching it hit just about every car in front of it, until finally the NPC bailed out and ran down the street. The 9F was mangled. Never saw such a crazy driving NPC before.

I was just roaming around the square when there was a load of shouts and the next thing I know a ped gets run down, so along comes an ambulance and while the paramedics are reviving the guy a truck nearly runs down the paramedic. After that all hell br3breaks loose and the paramedics drag the guy from the truck and kick 7 shades of crap out of him..

Remember that black car that use to spawn after each mission that you did after you spawned back into free roam? He was pretty crazy. Always speeding and blaring his music without a care in the world!... I miss him.

I think it's great when you see random things happening with the npcs. One thing I think they could have done to make online world seem more real is add more unique events I think usually players ignore the npcs because for the most part they are basically irrelevant except for obstructing the roadways.

Seen loads, I'm not sure if it's an AI Glitch or programmed for realism, but it is a nice touch to add some depth to the LS Traffic.

 

I got a video of me following a car onto a freeway on ramp and fails to look, nearly pulls into the side of a car. Horn blares and the car stops

Having worked with cab drivers in Manchester (UK) back in the 90s, got to say, that sounds like a pretty realistic portrayal.

They're more abundant in the U.S. You meet at least 3 a day. Plus this is Los Santos after all lol.

I love screwing with the NPCs that are just standing around - when there are two or more NPCs standing next to each other I put away my gun then run up and knock one into the other and stand back to watch them fight to the death, collecting the money afterwards. The office NPCs just run away, the dock worker types are the ones you can get to fight each other.

 

I also like finding some dock workers near containers, i annoy them so they start trying to beat me up, then I climb up on top of the container then run and jump, trying to land on top of them to knock them down to the ground, WWE style

 

One time I was round at my brother's and we were playing storymode using invincibility+remove wanted level cheats, just screwing with the NPCs, and somehow I managed to get two paramedics to beat up and kill another NPC! One of the funniest GTA moments I ever witnessed.

Just looks like a glitch in the AI response to your initial accident. Also wtf, your intro is almost longer than the vid itself

As Franklin I climbed out of the water and onto the Sonar Collections Dock. As I was ready to turn the corner I heard breaking glass and a scream. Next thing, there's a dead woman sitting at a table.

it's pretty hysterical considering there was zero player input to cause a ridiculous amount of carnage. This proves Los santos would be just as f*cked up without our interference.
