RoyalRedXIII Posted February 23, 2015 Share Posted February 23, 2015 The only people who "cry" about tanks STILL are either: -people who don't like PvP at all -new players who weren't around before the nurfs -12 year olds but aside from that, no one is really "crying" about tanks so much as it is just like "ugh, really? You went and got a tank to -_-?" It ruins the freeroam brawls when that one guy who can't stand losing has to get a tank to "prove himself". I used to fight them just to keep the tanker from thinkin he's "a tough guy" or whatever. Nowadays I just go into passive and drink a pisswaser. It's not worth the effort. Even when I don't get involved, someone in the lobby disposes of it within 5 minutes usually, so I just save my rockets. Trolls/griefers on the other hand are completely different. When they get tanks, I know it's for the sole purpose of destruction, chaos and ruining other people's fun. They don't care about what you think about them, so I don't hardly pay it no mind. ALSO: considering the billionaire days and all of the GLITCHING going around lately, I find it hard to believe that most folk have "earned" their tanks >_> smh please. Fyi, I haven't used my tank for almost 6 months since I stopped playing gtao for a while. But holy cow, tanks are basically useless now. I remembered back in the days when they were *FEARED* and basically you have to almost use all your RPG's just to take one down. Or if you're quiet skilled, you just snipe the driver. Did that even make sense? It was broken and unbalanced before. Tanks should NOT be able to take so many RPGS... Let alone be so easy to snipe and long range and kill the driver. Three RPGS makes sense and real life tanks can barely take one anyways. The problem is not the tank.. Its players. The tanks are now balanced perfectly. The players tho... still are able to hold too much ammo and explosives... Which makes them over powered. Let players only hold less ammo.. less explosives. Then we get a good balance of things. Ive got 3 solutions for the peoples who still do : 1. Get the f*ck out of the lobby, PRONTO. 2. Leave the tank alone and go about your business. 3. Do what I would usually do and TRY and have some fun destroying the bastard tank. Go wild and steal a jet and shred it or if you are feeling ballsy, hop in your car, attach 3 stickies to the tank, and make it go BOOM! I strongly recommend you doing solution 3. Have a friend put three sticky bombs on you when you're in passive mode and just plainly walk up to the tank and have him blow up the bombs. Now that will get the tankers crying to you! LOL! I personally wanted a tank but now that its so easy to destroy, i completely lost interest in the hassle and hard work that goes into buying one. This way I'm not liable for the insurance claims made on the personal vehicles i destroy. trolling people in tanks is one of the best features in the game. One should use all the tools available to them to keep a positive kdr, including passive mode. This game is all about out-smarting your opponent (everyone you come by) and making them feel the pain of their unprepared-ness thus, making them strive to be a better, smarter player. Your mileage may vary and whining changes nothing about the game play Wow,I never thought about it like that!if it weren't for marksmen spammers my evasive skills wouldn't be as good Seriously enlightening post. On topic:tanks are pretty fair now. It is annoying when people use them repeatedly though The tank icon on the map,IMO,was the biggest Nerf they ever got.now the instant you grab one half the lobby knows and they can easily avoid you if they want A solution to this is getting a tank with a bounty though. Agree, the nerf I don't like for the tanks is now you can spot them easier, Same with helis and jets. It sucks. I used to like hearing the explosions and sh*t and going, "sh*t, a tank around. ". LOL. Then, scrambling for shelter. Get to a place where the suckass can't get me and laugh my ass off as they tried. Send down a few stickies.. Bye bye tank fag.. LOL..
