The starts the never ending childish name calling like only "pussies use tanks" or "you have no skill because you fight in a tank". I means seriously people tanks have been around since day 1. If you don't like them then you could simply avoid the area the tanks in or find a new lobby. Instead of crying like a 2 year old and just not avoid the area the tanks in you should probably do as suggested. If you insist on bitching and moaning please note that whoever is in the tank will notice it and they will hunt you down and kill you over and over. I've been playing the game long enough where its just plain annoying and stupid to cry because someone has a tank and they are using it to kill players. And please NO stupid troll comments below like just "mute them" or "you can find a different lobby too". I personally can deal with them crying by you players you are afriad to die in a video game but I'm just puzzled at the fact you people cry when someone has a tank. Its just NOT real. i'm not saying i expect players to play by my book, but you have to expect players not to play by yours also. just like you find it annoying that people still complain about tanks, despite the useless state they're in now, some people may still find it annoying that you're using a tank. and let's not forget, not EVERYONE can properly defend themselves against one. myself? i have no trouble with tanks at all, destroying them is easy and avoiding them is even easier. but when i see a tank icon coming toward me, it always sends the message: "stop EVERYTHING you're doing and admire my e-penis!" followed by a half-assed attempt at spawn-killing me or forcing me into passive mode, not realizing i can easily blow them up or just avoid the entire situation via teleport exploit. basically what i'm saying is, don't complain about receiving complaints when you're doing something that people will OBVIOUSLY complain over. Honestly this is precisely why passive mode is there. passive mode is even better now cause a tank cant kill you and you still can do everything like enjoy your car without being killed, rockstar put tanks in game for a reason. why the hell would you buy a tank just to look at it and not use it because some kiddies can't deal with being killed by a tank. In free roam players don't get to choose how other players will kill them. Free roam is chaos. I see your point, but not everyone is rich in this game. I don't think alot of people would have the money to buy the Homing Launcher (maybe if they would do some jobs, they wouldn't have the problem!). Phantomspirit Posted February 18, 2015 Share Posted February 18, 2015 I think tanks are fine and fun in missions,but roaming around LS blowing the first player that accidently wonders into view?....Not exactly a challenge,or very brave or clever.Street fighting with assault rifles,using cover,and tactics,that's ok and fun,also gives your opponent a chance to give you a match and can be a real adrenaline rush. It still takes three or four grenades / rockets where a tank guy can blow me away with one shot, but I honestly enjoy the challenge. One should use all the tools available to them to keep a positive kdr, including passive mode. This game is all about out-smarting your opponent (everyone you come by) and making them feel the pain of their unprepared-ness thus, making them strive to be a better, smarter player. They are more fragile than glass... and now they show on map, so you can't even sneak up one any one.. and then they can blow you up as easy as looking at you.. and that if you get from the spawn point to the other players.. because NPC will drive in to you.. and the car explosions and the cops will kill you before you anywhere..
