Accuracy in first person mode

Ok, so I recently made the jump to the PS4 and got another copy of GTA of course. Maybe I'm crazy but on the PS3 version it seemed to reduce bullet spread when you put on a silencer. Now, on the PS4 version, when I go into first person, if I have a gun with the scope on the gun jumps all over the place. Even the assault rifles. So I started taking the scopes off and without the scope it seems as if this is what reduced bullet spread, or recoil making the gun more accurate. Has anyone tested this or noticed this. The thing that stood out at first was that the Uzi never had any attachments, on the PS3 would spray all over the place. When I transferred to the PS4, the Uzi was the only gun without a scope and was all of the sudden, the most accurate. In this I mean more bullets on target at a decent range without a scope. Like the scope is adding to the bullet spread or something.

i exclusively use first person mode, but I never use iron sights because exactly as you explained the recoil on the guns makes it impossible to aim a rapid fire weapon. I just use first person with the gun shouldered and aim with the reticle. anything longer distance than that i use a sniper.

And here I was thinkin that I was a chump for not using the iron sights like all the CoD cross over "experts"...

3rd person is simply more accurate. There is no bobbing effect when moving and aiming.. and you can see around corners.

Although 1st person is alot more intense.... and alot more useful in closed quarters.

and alot more useful in closed quarters.

I disagree. Due to the hipfire accuracy being almost identical to ADS or just the standard zoom with any weapon, close quarters is a nightmare played in first-person. It isn't so bad against players but I'm talking about the ridiculous AI.

The hipfire spray pattern of rifles and SMGs are too tight which makes room for little mistakes and having to be absolutely dead-on with your reticule if you want to hit your target. You can't lay into a room against enemies who are behind cover like you could in your standard first-person shooter because no matter how many rounds you use, they all seem to hit the same place with near 100% expert percision and as good as that sounds, I guarantee that's not what you want in a close quarters scenario.

If you don't believe me do the gang attack in the abandoned motel in Sandy Shores. Freeaim and FPS only. Use an SMG.

Sadly just firing your gun results in enabling you having to aim.

Well i usually use a pump shot gun when in 1st person in tight spots. So..im hitting that AI regardless. :D

the bobbing can be removed (reduced) in the settings menu.

in extremely close quarters (interiors) third person is nearly impossible to use.

I was always running in retarded circles in third person, I would find myself shouldering my weapon to be able to walk where I wanted. In first person this is fixed completely. I am confident walking ledges with ease. Third person is suicide in precarious positions.

And if you use 1st person cover settings god help you... (although shooting over horizontal cover like cars in first person works really well, vertical cover like walls it sucks)

Last COD I played was #2 and back then it wasn't an acronym.

That seems to best method. It would be nice if SMGs weren't so similar to rifles.

What I was getting at is that if you shoot in first person, zoom in and take off the scope, the guns seem to jump less. It seemed to me that the jumping around was due to the scope not the gun itself. So I took all the scopes off and it at least "feels" like more bullets are getting to the target.
