The Green Sabre
I think that the fact that it's been over a year since release and there's still no sign of any SP DLC should speak volumes about R*'s lack of punctuation. Keep in mind that TLAD came out just under 10 months since IV's release, and that apparently the SP DLC won't be as big as the IV episodes. What's the hold up? cp1dell
At this point it's a tradition for Rockstar to delay something, haha. Only reason I can't wait until heists are out, is so they can focus in the Story DLC. Could not care less about GTA Online. ItsJustMeSrsly
The fact that people even get pissed off that a company delayed something is mind-boggling to me and what's even more mind-boggling, is that when a company doesn't delay something and releases it full of issues, people still get pissed off and claim the company should've delayed it. Its full of issues not because of the delay! Its a stupid myth! (And i really wish Myth Busters were there to break/debunk it already, so all those people, blaming the issues on early release would all shut up once and for all!)! The reason is lack of will and skills of beta testers, when they're testing their game before its released! It may happen without or with delay, it may happen after one, two or several more delays it doesn't matter! In the end of the day, its how devs test their sh*t and address all the problems before releasing final product what matters, not how much it takes and how many delays before they get it right! I wish people would learn it someday!... Edited February 19, 2015 by ItsJustMeSrsly

Nah nah nah Gta 6
Wow, you haven't realised that pretty much EVERY GTA game has been delayed? (if they haven't, their PC Version has) Next gen wasn't delayed, only the PC version was lol. You have sh*t sources, there was never an apartment DLC and it wasn't even confirmed to begin with. Yes the PC version was delayed, but do you want this to be GTA IV all over again? The only delay Heists have gotten is when it mentioned it would come out in spring, but there wasn't a specific release date. If you were in charge of R* games, we'd have games as buggy as AC: Unity. You're an impatient little one, aren't ya? Edited February 19, 2015 by Stoney0503
Osho
Rockstar all along was very clearly focused at fixing the released build of ONLINE than SP. I've been reading about two teams managing both games separately but while one team is so heavily focused on improving this over-hyped garbage call GTA ONLINE by throwing interesting content, there are still no improvements to the SP game, nor do I find any word coming from those teams responsible for continuous improvements of players experience which are generally looked after initial few months from the release. We even had the NG release but still nothing substantial. Oh and don't tell me to "WAIT" for the inevitable SP DLC since I'm strictly talking about the problem of patching and fixing other SP related issues that the developers usually MUST take into consideration rather than keep delaying for whatever reasons. Watch people actually buy EA's new Battlefield: Hardline that just could have been Battlefield 4 DLC. What a joke. Battlefield 3 & 4 sucked. Everyone wants Bad Company 3 but no... EA will continue to make you pay for DLC and all that other micro transactions crap. Did anyone here buy Halo: The Master Chief Collection? The multiplayer for EVERY Halo game that came with it was BROKEN on day one and took two months to run properly. Tragic Delays are a good thing IN MY OPINION. The Green Sabre
@ Trevorphilipjfry You've hit the nail on the head, my friend. The constant delays of everything related to R*, particularly those damned Heists for Online, gets old pretty fast, especially when some people take it upon themselves to act all high and mighty by talking down to those that are tired of the delays. I think that all we really want is for R* to get better management, or at least they shouldn't set a release day until they're 100% positive that they can make it. Speaking about the Heists, the fact that something like that STILL hasn't been released yet, after almost 18 months since the release of V, is an embarrassment. I swear, if it was Ubisoft or EA, the gaming community at large would crucify them for gross incompetence, but since it's R*, they get a free pass. CarlitoDorito
If they released things because of complaints about delays they'd be horrible to play, buggy messes, it takes a long time to make things work sometimes, complaints are pointless as it can't change anything, delays will happen. Although it is the 1st update in a while, people get excited and delays are a disappointment. But inevitable. Its nothing to do with management, at all. It's also nothing to do with shark card sales or anything as stupid as that, it's how games are in the real world. When it comes I'm guessing things will be slightly more positive for 5 hours before the 1st "we waited 2 years for this?!" Thread pops up. The Green Sabre
^ Explain the Heists. How could something as relatively minor as that take almost 18 months to make? That's more time than one of the episodes of IV, which were big expansions. fac316
CarlitoDorito
What about it is minor? Something so big for an online game which many people play takes a long time. It not easy at all, read what they said, they were close, then it went wrong, they'd fix one problem and find another. That's how games are, it's a lot harder to make something which can have so many different possibilities, especially if it's online. They have to release it on 5 formats, account for Microsoft and sonys approval, there's a patch too so that's more testing. The new vehicles, weapons, cutscenes and voice acting, it isn't just make things, then they work. They don't have to delay them, they could've released them a while back, bugs and all, but didn't to make sure they're a good experience. I don't see how that's a bad thing, maybe I'm missing the point. Edited February 19, 2015 by CarlitoDorito

I swear, if it was Ubisoft or EA, the gaming community at large would crucify them for gross incompetence, but since it's R*, they get a free pass. I still think they make it on the purpose though! Dunno...this may sound ridiculous, but this way they benefit from hyping the game up constantly (Yes i know people get tired with each single delay, lack of news etc...), but this also make people hold their sits (which is yes...kinda paradox, since it raises a question, how come one person can lose all the hype and yet still the same time constantly checking for news and details like possessed! LOL), because they know for sure, that in the end of the day, cry or not people will still check on news, refreshing pages 24/7 like maniacs etc...And unfortunately this trick still works and it will always work! I doubt that anyone, who's been huge fan of the series and who has been waiting for GTAV news, read countless of articles and hype themselves up are seriously gonna miss the game after all that, just because they're tired of waiting! LOL A lot of people might try to convince you, that they lost interest and won't buy this game, because of delays etc...But i encourage you not to believe their nonsense! They talk a lot, the result is - what makes R* break sales records! The numbers speak themselves, and then you know people, that say they won't buy the game, because they lost all the hype are just liars! As much hype as i lost i admit, that despite all the delays, despite all the disappointments with GTAV, because of so much missed features, countless bugs and such i will still buy it regardless, just so i could have one more sandbox open world game i could kill my time on!... UtterTehSEAL
I think by "apartment dlc" he means the High Life update. (Which I don't remember being delayed.) Delays suck no bout a doubt it. However, if it's going to make benefit the game we can't really bitch. Online Heists are something R* has never done before and based on what we've seen and heard about Heists it looks like R* is trying to bring the singleplayer's cinematic quality and apply it to online. I'm sure it's a very daunting task and clearly it's more challenging than they anticipated (As they said in that IGN interview.) As for PC, well it was only delayed once. It was announced at E3 with Next-gen anything before that was just speculation on our end not anything official for R*. I got nothing for Singleplayer DLC though, I have no idea what happened to that. We only have what, like, 3 or 4 sentences of info on it anyways. We'll probably hear something about it at E3.
