Tails Prower Posted February 18, 2015 Share Posted February 18, 2015 Stealth skill is meant to be used within missions and for making you less noticeable on the map in free roam when amongst other players. If you look at the in game map on a mission etc you will notice a blue band around your symbol on the map as you are walking which is the amount of noise you are making. The larger this is the more likely you will be heard whereas if you level it up the amount of noise you make is reduced therefore you can be at an advantage in missions over the enemies. Mine is max and nobody ever seems to know where I'm at in DM, especially if I camp and cover and move stealthily. justinlynch3 Posted February 18, 2015 Share Posted February 18, 2015 Doesn't it increase how often you can combat roll as well? My characters has low stealth and rolls once then has to wait a second or two before rolling again, but a level 710 friend I had before she jumped up to PS4 was able to roll all over the place like crazy. PondNewt Posted February 18, 2015 Share Posted February 18, 2015 As far as I know you are off the radar in a deathmatch if you are in stealth mode unless you are directly in a players line of sight or unless someone has done the Lester reveal. I'm not really sure what the benefit of having the bar maxed out is though. The obvious thing would be that you could move faster while in stealth mode with a maxed out bar than you would otherwise but I don't think that is actually the case.
