Do you think that GTAO PC will have a graphical downgrade like console

Do you think that the PC version of GTAO will need to make the same graphical sacrifices that the console versions have?

 

When you spend a lot of time online then swap to single player the differences are very confronting, i really hope at the very least there is the option to have it look the same. I wouldn't care if it came at the cost of less people being able to fit in the lobby because at the end of the day i'd rather play a visually stunning version of the game with 5-10 buddies as opposed to a toned down version with 30 people.

 

I want the same amount of pedestrians, cars, mailboxes, telephone booths as single player along with animals, GTAO really needs the animals in my opinion.

Rockstar will probably give PC gamers the option. If not you can always host your own session and use mods.

No pc doesn't have the same limitations consoles do and it's belived the network is different thus making more things happen. You might even see some furry little creatures depending on how rockstar makes it.

But that's how they perceive the game playing at their end it shouldn't really impact upon me if i have a system that can handle single player full ultra style graphic settings.

It will still have similar Props etc removed in all likelihood.

 

Visually you should just be able to choose your Graphics Settings (Low, Medium, High & Ultra). Probably be able to FPS Lock also at 30 or 60 FPS using Settings provided by R*...Not to mention the fact you can change plenty of other settings using your Graphics Cards Software Interface.

R* will keep the downgrade because they cant be assed to remake the online map. They made no improvement in this field for current gen and I cant see them doing it for PC. People posting in the thread dont fully understand what the OP is trying to say.

OT: I highly doubt Rockstar will downgrade the graphics for the PC version of online. The only thing I'd wager a guess on being "downgraded" from SP would be the traffic density and variety of cars that spawn.

PC gamers are generally adults, since parents aren't as willing to pony up $$$ for X or Y hardware part as they would a console, either due to the fact that consoles are still seen as kids' appliances by the majority of people or the eschewed perception that PC parts are expensive.

I just hope the occlusion and multiple lighting effects and reflections found in SP can be enabled in Online...

As well as the SP Timecycle. Online's is so limited and frankly boring.

In any case the PC version should allow for props to be available online. No animals because that would just look bad on rockstars end.

You can play your games at 4k with 120fps and easily switch over to your still cool 1080p 60fps laptop for on the go.

If I'm not mistaken GTA:O's map has props MISSING right?

 

They could allow us to enable it (via general graphics settings).

 

Regarding the lighting effects and timecyc', probably will be included with the graphical settings.

 

I hope.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if it did, but realistically I expect many things to be optional, as previously mentioned.

 

This is lazy Rockstar though, so don't be surprised if the graphics occasionally blur like mad and you get a phone call from some crazy "European" asking if you want to go bowling.
