Will the sad trombone glitch result in a money wipe?

I could have sworn a guy got cheater pooled for abusing the hooker glitch when a r* employee in the session caught him doing it and he explained what he was doing.

 

LOL.

 

R* Employee: "What is that you're doing there?"

Player: "See, it's this glitch that requires...."

R* Employee (Fantasy World): "Thank you for bringing that to my attention so that we can correct it. Don't do it any more and you won't get in trouble, here's some GTA$."

R* Employee (Reality): "Enjoy cheater pool, mfer."

 

In reality or fantasy, if that's actually the case, I liked that R* had no clue until some employee spotted it in-game.

It's a horn option on NG that was able to be glitched for free. Given that it *WAS* an expensive horn, if you could get it for free, then significant bump in car sale price.

 

The fact that they didn't fix it and only lessened the appeal of it the other day makes me wonder if it's - for whatever reason - a bigger fix than thought. There have been somewhat similar errors in the past (the Dune Buggy issue in patch 1.07, which was fixed in something like 12 hours or less), but those were fixed QUICK, while this has been allowed to go on for a while now.

I bought shark cards and never did anything other than duping to get cars in from SP on old gen...am legit 390 and the sad trombone is the first "glitch" I've given any attention...adding it to cars and grinding rat loaders daily and have 11m.

 

I expect heists to be expensive content wise and also I get constant disconnects so grinding jobs or races is even impossible...this was completely fair game and you're a child if you see the world in such black and white terms.
