Petition Idea

So lately I've been extremely frustrated that Rockstar has been holding out on giving us information regarding heists. I understand that they're probably hard at work and may not have all the spare time to do sh*t like that, but today just really made me angry when they posted an instagram photo talking about some stupid stunts or something like that.

Anyways, I was actually wondering if anyone who checks these forums knows a thing or two about legal petitions so that we can write one up to try and get Rockstar to do something. If it gets enough signatures/good publicity maybe Rockstar will notice it and respond to it. Now for all you ignoramus' who think that I want to start a petition for rockstar to "give us heists", that's not it at all. I was thinking something along the lines of petitioning them just to give us a release date or even just to give us some sort of information, just to kill all the speculation and all the hateful comments that people leave on their newswires/social media accounts.

I think that it's ridiculous how they gave us the heist trailer almost 3 months ago and they have nothing to show for it.

Alright, let me know what you guys think and hopefully this can be a success.

P.S.

No negative or rude posts please!! I'm not a mean person so I don't personally care for rude closed-minded opinions

The fault of the idiot consumer for paying for a half finished game.

Some of them planning on buying it a third time in a month or two.

You can't do anything about what Rockstar has done. They promised you a game and they delivered. Heist and Online were bonus features that were supposed to be included in the game. Bonus being the operative word here. Any court would look at what was actually paid for and what was bonus and would throw any and all cases out.

As far as wanting information, they don't owe you anything. Unless you own stock and go to shareholder meetings, any information you get be thankful for it. The rest they can tell you what ever they please.

Dear OP, officially you have no legal course of action. Sorry.

This is coming from a guy who could make you pay me a couple stacks and waste a bunch of time to find out you have no legal course of action, so, you know, take that for what you will.

If you guys think a petition is a bad idea. A waste of time or anything else you could choose to be good human beings and either politely say so or not respond to the thread.

Consider not reacting constantly to everything. It usually results in negative energy.

Consider reading what was written. Pausing for a moment. If their is something positive to add or contribute then do so. if not just move on and read the next topic that catches your eye. This world you live in is so much better for you and everyone else like this.

Miss Malevolent

People can make a petition about anything they want. Whether it has any merit...or whether it will do anything is another matter entirely.

You're going to make a petition for Rockstar to TALK about heists? What would be accomplished with that? That just seems an unnecessary waste of time.

Sorry they said

"GTA Online for PC, which will support up to 30 players, will launch alongside GTAV for PC and will include GTA Online Heists. Online Heists for consoles will be launching in the coming weeks ahead of the PC launch."

So thats march 24th take away "coming weeks" which implies 2 weeks or so. But take what you will I couldnt care less

Maybe take your own advice? you had nothing positive to add so why did you post? Just to tell others how to live their life? Are you the same guy that makes those shark card threads about how others spend their money too?

Like I stated 3 months ago. If they had anything at all send them back to the start in creating heists, and as often as they introduce bugs in their own code, it is likely they found something else that sent them back to square one. The way I see it, they flat out said that Valentines special was coming again, yet nothing. The only thing I can think of is that something has , yet again, sent heists back to the drawing board and they aren't doing anything until they come out. No DLC - no updates. No matter what anyone wants to argue, they DID promise heists for GTAOnline. If they don't hold true, everyone who bought the game(given you live in a country with the correct laws regarding it) has a right to their money back. Upset about no heists or not, they are not coming until R* makes it so. Besides its not like you don't have 90% of the game you paid for anyway.

If you are bored with GTAO, play GTA SP or another game. Heists are not going to cure your boredom, they will just put it on pause for a week or two. Or you can get creative and try something different in GTAO, like a new character or something.

By all means create a petition, but remember, they hold no legal merit. No court justice is going to do anything no matter how many people sign said petition, they are not a legal means to an end. It is just a bunch of people that want the same thing. If you want a legal matter, then you have to file a complaint in the Court of Common Appeals with a local court. If it gets the attention of a big time lawyer, maybe you will have what you are looking for. But you will get a whole lot more that you are not looking for. Who wants to be known for taking down GTA, knowing it was just for a week of two of more gaming? Which you can do anywhere with any other game.

No offence, but half the people on this forum are "defeatists" when it comes to R*'s customer relations, I'd definitely sign this petition but this sure as hell isn't the place to promote it with all the sad saps here.

When did they say Vday was being re-released?

Also If you think you could get you money back then you are truely a fool. Didnt you read the ToS when you joined online?

Their TOS for online does not supersede US law regarding the sale of physical merchandise. Even if they want to point to their TOS, it would be real easy to make a case. They claimed certain things would be included for the price of the game. And, in case you can't read, I never said I think I can get my money back. But if heists don't come, everyone is deserving of a refund. Even if we don't want/get said refund. You paid for something, as of now you have not yet received all of what you have paid for. The thing about the V-Day was from the R* support staff and it is months old.

Regardless if they are busy or not, they promised their customers that heists would be delivered and have failed to do so. They lied about the dates. It's been that long that I couldn't really give a sh*t about the heists anymore. Even when they are released, I still don't think I'll be that excited
