Taking losses on the betting screen

Hi everyone

 

I recently was playing a DM with a minium 4 ppl,so one player decides he/she did not want to play and leaves causing the game to kick everyone.I noticed i have another loss because of this.What is the logic behind this change.It wasn't like this before and makes no sense whatsoever that the players who didn't quit out would receive a loss.

as far as i remember, it has always been that way. when race betting was still a thing you'd lose your wager if the guy you bet on left during the race. just another one of those fishy little issues that you can find all over this game.

Nah it wasnt like that before i have had it happen in the past when the game 1st came out and i never received losses on my record.I find it ridiculous someone should get losses for not even participating in the actual match,i could see the person leaving getting the loss but the others makes no sense

as far as i remember, it has always been that way. when race betting was still a thing you'd lose your wager if the guy you bet on left during the race. just another one of those fishy little issues that you can find all over this game.

 

Yeah i can see that,but this is on the screen before the match actually starts were everyones standing around jerking off

He's not talking about a betting loss, he's talking about a win/loss statistics bug. I never ran into this specific bug on the PS3, but besides death matches my other favorite game mode is the parachute racing. There were 3 bugs on the PS3, started around patch 1.12, it took them 5 patches to finally fix 2 out of the 3. The way the one bug worked which was the worst was when the host of the match would quit int he middle of the race. Once that happened everyone in the lobby was going to loose didn't matter who was winning the race. From my understanding that bug still exists.

 

Now that I've been on the PS4 these bugs don't exist, but there are a few new ones. One that most know is if the race lobby exceeds 16 players. What happens is the first place finisher gets his standing duplicated from 1st to last place on the leader board. It will say you won the race but finished 16th or whatever, but the win gets recorded as a loss. I've ran into that bug 3 times already on the PS4. OP my advice to you, and this is what I did. Get as many players that you know to spam R* with tickets about the bug. The more that get sent the better shot of it being looked at. But don't expect it to be fixed anytime soon.

Betting has always been hilariously broken, you always lose money if you bet the maximum amount regardless of if you win. It's best not to bet at all or just bet the minimum of $100.

not so bright, are we? just because you'd only win, f.e., 4000$ upon betting 10000$ does not mean you lose 6000$. You always got the money you won, plus you got the money you put up back. in this case you'd receive 14000$ in total. it's not even math, you could have realized that by simply paying attention to your amount of cash pre- and post-race.

It was always like this. I used to always lag out of races in patch 1.06 and it would count as a loss.

I did ticket them but i doubt they will reply,but you are right this is exactly what i meant

Few of my tickets I sent in the past I never got a reply, but I'm sure it was looked at. Few times I did get a response, make sure you title your ticket as a bug report. It does work I'll give you another example. There were 2 jumps that were completely broken when the PS4 launched. I sent in a bug report via ticket, and within 2.5 weeks they were removed from the game. I'm sure I wasn't the only person who took notice but it did pay off. The game itself is bug ridden, it will never be bug free. I won't even blame Q&A at R* game studios, I'm sure they found all these bugs at one point. Problem is try to make a completely bug free game it'll never get launched. Corporations care about dollar signs, and consumer protection laws don't apply to the gaming industry, so they can get away with selling you $60 dollars worth of bugs.
