I just bought a buzzard...what are some good missions to play where you can practice with the buzzard and get good amounts of cash/rp? I want to get better at orbiting and hitting targets with the miniguns.

Almost every mission you can effectively use a buzzard in.

Just practise, fly instead of drive, practise flying low and avoiding obstacles, practise landing and staying steady.

If you have a PS4 i could help you.

Pro Tip- Don't let anyone in your Buzzard on missions, those f*cks always take over the rockets and can't hit sh*t.

GhostlySentinel

Find a cc3 playlist.

This is good advice, and great money for completion.

http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/ps4/playlists/

I use that one.

EDIT: Sh*t, link won't work. Scroll down that page and you'll find plenty of Potshot, Coveted and Crystal Clear Out 3 playlists. I just want a playlist with A Titan of a Job or Blow Up.

The only thing they can hit, is the buzzard they're in :)

If you want to take down targets with miniguns, I'd suggest to use an annhillator, instead. But, as you already bought the thing, I suggest to use the flight school mission, as stated above.

Rooftop Rumble.

Annihilate everyone in the parkhouse. When that car takes off with the document guy, fly to his destination and mix everyone there with soil.

Wait for him to arrive and prepare to showdown: Miniguns on Wobbly Chopper in FPS vs. Aimbot Pistol Guy.

Practice makes perfect. I remember when I learned to circle strife on GTAIV. Me and my buddies would take turns shooting at each other at the airport and in the process I became really good at shooting pilots out with everything from pistols to sniper rifles (NO AUTO AIM). Free aim on IV was so much better than V's imho. Helicopters were more deadly too when you learned to sidewind your targets whether they were on the ground or in the air it made it much harder to hit you. Again V's mechanics lack compared to IV in this area as well.

Pro tip #2: Know when to use your Buzzard, but more importantly learn when NOT to use it on missions. For example, there's nothing more embarrassing than having a good run on The Los Santos Connection and then you fail the mission for your team because you tried to take out the 2 enemies guarding the coke with your rockets thereby destroying the package.

If you're wanting to learn how to circle strafe though, I might suggest playing Clearing the Cathouse or CCO3 as others have mentioned.

Lots of missions are benefited by a Buzzard. I'm not sure practicing with the miniguns is the best use of your time, however. They're underpowered and much too finicky to use; there is no situation I can think of where I'd rather use the miniguns than the good ol' rockets (with their much heavier damage and area of effect). The only exception being when firing close to an objective, so that you don't destroy it by explosion. However, it's much better (basically always) to use missiles to kill everything else, then land and take out the objective guy on foot.

Likewise against players - missiles are effective, the miniguns are basically not, no matter how well you aim them.

The buzzards miniguns are devastating if you know how to use them properly.

^^ So very true. I used to think the guns were pointless until I watched 2 guys from this forum go head to head with them. They were very, very good. It was intimidating how good they were.

Check out this guy's channel:

This video is so old it doesn't even mention the homing launcher and helis are still white dots, don't waste time watching this.

Missions, I like Trash Talk, Base Invaders, Mixed up with Coke, Judging the Jury with the buzzard off the top of my head, my pro tip is "Do not use the rockets to kill enemies near any kind of package/briefcase/mission item that you are supposed to collect because they will destroy it."

If you use the buzzard side guns to shoot the briefcase even directly it won't destroy it, this is an advantage the Buzzard has over all other aircraft perhaps excluding the Annhilator but I never tried that.

I can't remember, I'm afraid. It was over a year ago.

I'll dig through my post history and see if I can find it.

This is one of H8meX's older vids if you look on his channel he has newer vids and they are very good.

Anyway in terms of the homing launcher and flying in general i have some here.

That H8me guy has a good video where he uses a DM test in creator to practice shooting. NPCs all armed with melee weapons gives you a chance to get some nice practice in. I'd do that OP.

If you want to use it in FM, use non-Pegasus buzzards so HL doesn't lock onto you. Use an expanded mini map so you can keep an eye out for jets and other copters. Definitely learn to use the guns. They may wobble, but if you attack nose down they get more stable and do a lot of damage.
