GTA Online World Record Achievement (FIXED OR NOT) ?

I heard that the World Record achievement had bugs? is it still like that? Should I be happy for this achievement from the video or just a bug ?

It's one of the Hokey Cokey bugs that R* has. Sorry, no WR. They've removed the RP bonus for it though, I think.

The RP stil seems to work for the WR record lap as I got that a few times over the weekend but overall I think

WR are really messed up the moment as got a couple of this message over the weekend and other racers

did better times.

 

On a similar topic is there any way to check WR on Social Club rather than in game?

I'm a poor racer and regularly get world records. I even got one in an air race which was fixed to miljet or dodo, I was in the dodo and my flying is laughably bad!

I got a world record. I knew it was glitched but part of me still celebrated like I won the Daytona 500.

If you ask me, i don't like how anyone can get a world record nowadays its just cheap, one thing i do in this game when playing solo is chasing the platinum awards(78/89 atm) which i like to earn legit and i don't even count this one. To your question, it hasn't been fixed and probably never will be.
