And is a pain in the ass, if the target isn't on the street itself most times they dont even appear.

 

If you are level 51 you can do that gang attack near zancudo, 2 canis spawns there, you can grab and store after (must do the blue circle glitch)

mmm just go to fort zancudo, do the gang attack and thebdo the untaint glitch so you can store it...

 

do the gang attack.

 

after that drive the merryweather mesa into the nearest mission corona.

 

step out of the car.

 

let the mission load.

 

backout of the mission.

 

the merryweather mesa should now spawn next to you.

 

now you can drive the mesa to lsc tp buy insurance, tracker and customization.

 

all the money you invest is lost as you cannot sel this vehicle later.

 

HAVE NO PV OUT WHEN DOING THIS OR IT WONT WORK!

Put the car right inside one of the blue circles that start missions, races.. Exit the car so the mission will start, abort when it asks if you want to host or join and when you're back to the free mode the mesa should be parked nearby. It doesn't always work but almost. People like to use that race right under weazel towers because the starter is right by the street.

 

It's not really necessary to store your PV in the garage, in fact most times it worked with me was with the car outside garage, so when you abort the race, both PV and mesa should be parked nearby. I know this because i collect mesas and made it several times to get all the color variants. It's just not a matter of respraying because the stock wheels keep the body color and if you change they're smaller than stock.

did the gang attack, grabbed the mesa, went to the race right near it, parked in marker, got out, got to race menu then quit... spawned in circle with no mesa.

do I need to actually start the race?

but you need more than one player.. and I'm not sure you can store it if you do it that way.

[EDIT] you should not have that. it can mess it all up and spawn your personal vehicle near you instead of the vehicle you are trying to clean.

you should not start the race back out as fast as possible. maybe try another blue circle, like a parachute or something. i don't know.. i can try for myself tonight and see if i can figure it out.

did you run around sometimes it don't spawn right back in the circle it can be down the street

The blue circle glitch failed for me - I could still see tire tracks leading into the blue circle when I backed out of the mission, but no Mesa nearby!

 

Proven method: I called Mercs on someone who was griefing me - he killed 3 out of 4 of them and then got killed himself. Saved me most of the work! I followed the 1 remaining merc and shot him from behind, and got the Mesa! It's the beautiful tan one... and it's surprisingly fast.

so get this, one of my friends finally logged on, asked to help me get a mesa, of course he agrees... right as we're waiting for meeyweather to show up, I get booted from the session!... then we couldn't join each others game for some reason!



I finally just gave up and went to bed lol.
