Intentional Boot?

I'm killing this guy, up on him a good deal (this is not a story).. then I d/c from XBL. Cannot sign back online on that name at all, I get on my other profile and my d/c'd name is still showing online. Does this mean I was booted off XBL intentionally? Is there any way to fix/prevent this or just wait it out?

Did you try restarting your console or router?

It's a glitch with the game and XBL I think. When I've had this, I've had to restart GTA so the game would see XBL. Failing that, restart your console and sign into XBL.

Fixed, thanks guys. By the way, if anyone has this issue.. console reset didn't work, I had to reset my modem entirely.
