(XB1) "Throwback" Themed Content

As most of you should know by now, Rockstar has put on their website a list of custom created content that are throwbacks to classic GTA missions and moments. I was disappointed to see at least half the list was for PS4 and had no XB1 versions, such as the lowrider race from GTA San Andreas, "High Stakes, Low Riders". So I went ahead and took the liberty of recreating that race for all XB1 users to download and play. This inspired me to look back at some of my favourite missions from past GTA titles and try to recreate them. Below is a list of my throwback jobs, please feel free to download them, play them, comment and rate them, as well as to add to this list with your own throwback themed jobs

 

Name: High Stakes, Low Rider

Type: Point to Point

Players: 1-16

Description: It's hard cash, or your pink slip in the pot. Can Safos, eh? Then pull up and race, first one past the post wins, con chorta, sin chorta. [i can not take full credit for this race, I simply copied the outline of the race for PS4 to make it available for XB1]

Name: GTA: The Green Blade

Type: GTA Capture

Players: 2-16

Description: Legends of the Green Sabre has inspired a new generation of street thugs to remake history. The Green Sabres' heir, the Green Blade, has been seized by crooked cops. Disrupt the Families' plans to retrieve it by taking it for yourself. Be warned, your crew's not the only ones with their ears to the ground. So gear up and race up the LS River, or take the longer route to the overpass on Hawick and get the drop on everybody.

Name: Wrong Side of the Tracks

Type: Last Team Standing (LTS)

Players: 4-8

Description: Relive a classic GTA San Andreas moment in this Last Team Standing. This time, make sure they don't have a chance to even get on that damn train! Stick to your side or blindly blitz across the tracks.

Name: Nines and AKs

Type: Team Deathmatch

Players: 2-16

Description: Emmet? Sh*t, gangsters these days got Mac's, AK's and all kinds of stuff. Emmet, on other hand, ain't got sh*t. So it's up to you to get yourself strapped for this deathmatch in a familiar neighborhood.

Name: Cleaning the Hood

Type: Team Deathmatch

Players: 4-12

Description: Revisit old friends like 'B Dup' and 'Big Bear' in this throwback to the classic San Andreas mission of the same name. Time to put in work, so get the homies together.. just like the old days.

Name: Verdant Meadows

Type: Team Deathmatch

Players: 4-12

Description: This privately owned airplane graveyard used to be a remote airstrip allegedly used by the FIB in the '90s, but those are just old, dug up rumours...
