Well, I thought I would make this after basically destroying the ammunation in pillbox hill, hiding in the shooting range, losing 4 stars, and walking out like a badass. So, tell some stories about your endeavors and escapes while being chased by the police!

Driving on and following the train tracks is a sure fire way to ditch them...at least in my experience.

i've hiden in the train tunnel near the freeway.

another time i hide in the subway at the burton station.

If I haven't been spotted in my personal vehicle, I pretend to be a parked vehicle in either an alleyway or parking lot. Of course it only works if you have tinted windows.

I just like to use tunnels. There's also a parking garage close to Michael's house the cops can't get into.

I was running from the cops so i called for my helo but as i got close it told me that they moved it back into storage just as i was pulling in i saw another helo just taking off and i guess the player saw me and he landed pretty fast i jumped in and he helped me escape the cops.

In an old school GTA tactic I didn't think would actually work seeing as cops in GTAO seem to be psychic...I got far enough from them the that cones showed up, and simply got out of the vehicle I was in, and swiped another that an NPC was in. Actually drove past 2 patrol cars and they didn't even stop. Granted it was only a 2 star pursuit, I doubt it would work with 3 stars and above.

Running on foot is cool. When I rob stores I park my car in a parking lot nearby so when I exit the store I can run through alleys back to my car

With all the ladders and climbable ledges and jumpable gaps between buildings available in Los Santos, losing a two star (Can be done with more, but helicopter makes it a bitch) wanted level by going all Assassin's Creed is pretty fun. Especially in first person.

I've been hiding inside this god forsaken mule now for 50 days. The hourly patrol almost spotted me today. But alas, I was able to avoid detection. While supplies are running low, my main concern is the buildup of feces. I don't know how much longer I'll be able to survive.

Down an alleyway near one of the ammunation's is a shipping container with an open end. I was driving away from 4 stars with helicopters following, I was very briefly out of visual contact with them when I turned up the alleyway and saw the container and thought "why not" so drove the car in and ducked down. The police drove past and the helicopter lingered around a bit, a few cops got out on foot and walked around the back of the container but before they came to the front I lost the wanted stars. Its not dramatic but paid off.

Even then, that works for so long until their magic nose follows your direct footsteps leading to the bush and them spotting you five feet away from the bush.

I actually switched accessories to disguise myself. Had noo idea that worked at first. One time i had I started with 3 stars, then I switched from glasses to a hockey mask.

 

Not only did I lose all 3 stars, but then the cops, gave me $5000, gave me a ride to the impound to get my car, and then turned a blind eye.

 

True story. Apparently the LSPD get along very well with masked killers.

Hope that someone in the lobby has a terrible connection, then you can just walk right past them.

 

Other than that, hiding in the staircase in a parking lot, changing levels as the cops drive further up looking for me.

 

I find when you move around slowly, cops are easy, it's when you try to outrun them that issues arise.
