Do you remember the days when tanks weren't nerfed?

My mate and I used to specialize in sniping the drivers out of tanks, god those were fun days... Made all the more fun when squeakers would get SOOoooo pissed off and start yelling that we were hacking and that they were going to report us to their "brother, sister, cousin, dad, mom, dog" who works for R* and get us console banned.!

it brought me great joy to hear some kid run his mouth off and then turn the corner. he sees my tank on his screen and he squeals in panic as I open fire. you didn't have any excuse for being killed by a tank. if you couldn't see or hear it slowly making its you to you its because you were dumb. if you just kept running back at the tank getting yourself killed then you are really dumb.

 

the game has been nerfed to hell because rockstar is listening to the demands of children not even old enough to be playing the game. the tank now has its own icon, is made out of paper and has been slowed down. players should be given a refund for buying it since its not the same product anymore.

Yeah, I always thought that the tank nerf was a part of Rockstar's "hand holding".

Loved snipin people in them. Also loved pickin up unsuspecting tanks and droppin them in the ocean or lake. Small little thing I liked, and still do, is beating them to their freshly spawned tank. Also Lazer strafe runs.

I remember those days, these guys waited an hour outside my house for my $100 million bounty once, telling me to get out and sent a buzzard to shoot the machine guns at Eclipse towers to get me out, my friend ended up getting it.

Sure. Driving a Rhino those days was awesome! U got bad sport because everyone smashed his car against your Rhino, u got stuck with money because you had to pay everyone's car.

I missed it, it was hell when there's an enemy tank on freemode. But it's fun when you're the one driving it.

I remember the cries of the little whiny kids when you grieved them. And when tanks were actually feared and you got the whole lobby against you. But now though...it's just meh. Nobody cares anymore since you can take it down with 1 homing launcher

Before patch 1.14 delivered an armor nerf to the tank, the tank was near-invincible. Do you remember those days?

 

Did you like it back then? Or was it a time you'd rather forget?

 

Note: I'm not asking for anything to be nerfed or buffed here. I'm just asking if people remember the days of the unnerfed tank. Nothing more than that.

Trolling is an art. Back in the day, getting in a tank and "trolling" was the equivalent of Stephen Hawking counterfeiting Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel piece.

Now with the tank nerf, I'm not sure if that's a viable method for anyone who has yet to get the Police Mocker, When Pigs Can Fly, and The Fugitive awards.

It's pretty easy to get all of that without a tank.. Go on top of a building with cover and no ladders and snipe every police helicopter you see. Pilots, tail rotors, it doesn't matter. I got When Pigs Can Fly rather fast doing this.

I remember the first time i ever saw a tank the whole lobby tried ganging up on him but there was no hope without explosives. We all kept on running out with aks and dieing over and over.
