Do you remember the days when tanks weren't nerfed?

Before patch 1.14 delivered an armor nerf to the tank, the tank was near-invincible. Do you remember those days?

 

Did you like it back then? Or was it a time you'd rather forget?

 

Note: I'm not asking for anything to be nerfed or buffed here. I'm just asking if people remember the days of the unnerfed tank. Nothing more than that.

The only difference I've noted was that back then, I was happy living in Del Perro, and now I moved to another 10-car apartment which I will not disclose since tankers now made Del Perro the new Eclipse.

 

Either way, it's not like I changed my strategy of driving the hell back to my apartment and staying there if I see a tank,

My fav was sitting on top of the building where they cant shoot high enough and rain down RPGs on them then they called us the pussies for not fighting fair....

Hated it. Back then the only way to take down a tanks was the another tank. Or $30k worth of explosions.

I miss having Tanks as my final trounce card I could play. Now anytime I call it I basically expect to lose it without even anyone attacking me, f*cking rear ending and traffic pulling into me kills me quicker than my trip to go get it.

This was hype. I loved sniping them out of the tank. Nothing like having someone's tank taken away from them with a sniper shot.

I remember that dude. It was one of the reasons I glitched a bit of money. I saved up to buy that bad boy and used it quite often until the nerf. I feel like they should've reduced the price and or level requirement to buy it as well to balance it out.

Yeah I remember, pretty happy that its only a memory now.

I remember playing missions hours in a row to get to level 90 so I could buy the large sniping rifle and tank snipe.

 

Once I aquired the rifle I went to a tall building and applied the technique I learned on this site about tank sniping.

 

I got many "go f*ck yourself you hack" texts from the players I sniped out of their tanks. Yet these clowns would make a B line straight to the tank again and once the hatch was shut, BLAM! Pissed plenty of people off.

 

Then those feamle dogs at C* had to patch it because I'm sure this was costing them money somehow. Money hungry whores.

I certainly don't miss them; Twankers were worse than even Chradders back in the day.

 

On the upside, tank sniping's the stuff of chronic amusement. I miss that if nothing else.

Tanks are easy to deal with, sniping them gave me great satisfaction. The one thing that was worse than probably anything was the Pegasus insurance glitch. Blow up another players Buzzard or Tank who had them insured, 25k right out of your pocket. I must have pulled my ethernet cable out of my PS3 2 dozen plus times during those days.

R* completely ruined the Tank.

The entire time it was slow moving and you could hear the Shell fire from the Tank from far enough away it could not reach you, meaning you could easily get away from it...I still feel like we deserve a refund on our Tanks as we do not have what we originally paid for.
