spawn in first person/can't shoot out car

So for about the past 3 or 4 days now, whenever I get into an online game, I keep spawning into first person. Also, I can not shoot out of my car until I go into a GTA style race, complete it, and go back to free roam. Any ideas??? It's quite annoying.

Just tap the Select/Trackpad to change back into 3rd person view, You can also change your view options in the settings menu..

 

As for the shooting part you probably have it set to where you have to aim before shooting you can also change that in the settings menu.

As for the shooting part you probably have it set to where you have to aim before shooting you can also change that in the settings menu.

I understand how easy it is to change the view. It's just annoying because it's not set to do that. And I have it set so I have to aim, but that doesn't work. I don't even break out the window. I HAVE TO do a GTA race and go back to free mode. Also, when I first get back to free mode and select a sticky bomb, whenever I aim, it'll kick me back to first person AGAIN. this is getting really annoying.

Have you tried messing with the settings to see if it fixed it?

You need go to offline mode. Try to shoot from the car with Trevor, Michael and Franklin. Save your game. Go back to online mode. It was fixed.

Ya know, I always boot to multiplayer. I let it go yesterday to single player, and it loaded my game. Right when I went into the settings, it reloaded the game to the very beginning. So when I loaded my game save, everything seemed to work. We'll see how long it lasts Had I not figured that out, your post definitely would've helped. Thanks!

Play SP long enough until it makes an autosave on it own so you won't have to keep doing that.
