today in free roam i kept noticing a level 50 player kept getting killed a level 120 (ish) player.

so i drove to where the lower level player was in my fully upgraded coquette.

i beep couple of times and he shoots me, i later challenged to a 1 vs 1 dm, i somehow won it (i even blew up his pv during the dm (i guess when you blow up a pv during a 1 vs 1 dm you don't get hit with a insurance bill or bad sport warnings).

has anyone ever had a good deed go bad?

Yeah I was duping my Cheetah for this kid and I told him to stay out of it because I was insuring another car, and right when I pressed "put tracker" on the other car, he got in the Cheetah and I lost it. I had that sh*t since patch 1.06. I was so pissed that I killed him a billion times, reported him for glitching and deleted him.

I allways drive around in a blacked out van, black paint, black wheels, blavck windows. You get the point. Beside spying on people while off the radar i'm enjoying it sometimes to pick up low levels. Drive them to wherever they need to, rob stores with them.

 

One day i picked this lvl 15 up and we went on a robbery spree. Afther losing the cops he got out, i did the Salute action, and he shot me in the faceand drove off with my van. I figured he could have it, he couldn't store it anyways, hope he had fun with it.

 

Went to a lvl 3 with my van, about to get close so pressing the horn. The unexpected twist happened when the lvl 3 pulled out a RPG. He killed me, he then spawn killed me with a pistol, and was in godmode..

 

I guess nice people on gta don't excist...

At Christmas time.

Level 16 or something showed up at an HPV at the same time I did, I crouched behind my car and text him "You take it, I'll cover you."

We go to LSC and he resprays it, we roll into the port and the kid threw a sticky on my car and blew me up. I let the little sh*t deliver it, called MMI and the mechanic to get my car back, I then went down to where he was, blew up his car which he was getting into and proceeded to spawn kill him with my heavy sniper at least 30 times until I got a text, "Please Stop, I'm sorry."

I don't do good deeds in free roam unless I really know the person. But during a mission where you have to steal a boat, I notice my teammate running towards me so I wait in the boat thinking I'd be an asshole if I just left with out him. Dude gets in the boat, throws me out, and speeds away leaving me in the water. Last time I've ever waited for a teammate.

A year ago I let a Arabic kiddie ride in my brand new fully modded Chradder. Lill' sh^t wrecks it in no time. Back then there was a problem that you could not get destroyed vehicles in slot 1 back. Insurance did not work. Luckely money glitches did work. So I grinded the glitches to get 1,5 million back. Lesson learned, I deleted all kiddies from my friends list.

 

I let my online friend win 40 races so he could unlock upgrades. Bastard deleted his avatar for no valid reason. Did 40 laps again all night around the prison in criminal records. Bastard resets avatar again. Then I said do not ask me again.

last good deed i did was picking some guy up from mount chilliad since he was stuck there. rank 20.

 

as soon as i take him to where he wants to go, he gets out and immediately starts trying to shoot me out of my car. so i just kept the rear-end pointed at him, gave him a face full of AP rounds, waited for him to respawn, drive-by sticky-bombed him and then went on about my business.

 

eversince then, i don't do favors for anyone, even if they tell me they're friendly. follow me around and you get blown up regardless lol.

It happens on a regular basis. It doesn't really bother me though, because it's nothing new.

 

I like to drive lower level player around and do whatever they desire; robbing stores, trying to survive police chases and shootouts for as long as possible, doing stunts if I drive with a sports/super car, and so on. I do that at least once every day and it works out most of the time.

 

There are exceptions, though. For example, I was trying to help a rank 35 player in a shootout between him and a couple of rank 80 players a couple of days ago. Apparently, I was good enough for that but the guy killed me for no reason thereafter, which then resulted in a shootout between us two. Of course, he had no chance, but he didn't want to give up. I eventually left the lobby and played some contact missions.

 

Like I said, it happens regularly. If they attempt to flee because they've had enough, I'll leave them be then. I'm not going to follow anyone around just to kill them, unless they ask for it.

I know the feeling. I played Extradition at last years Valentine's day with some randoms. Of course the randumbs rush Zancudo, so the jets at Sandy Shores airfield take off. But I am always prepared for that. I called my Buzzard and killed the DA, while the randumbs are stuck in Zancudo.

 

My buzzard was shot to pieces while escaping the cops. I managed to land on the highway along the beach. I wait for the mechanic to deliver my ride and finally I see the others approaching. O good I think, they can give me a lift. Instead they run me over to deliver the documents themselves. And there is no bonus for delivering. I wait until the mission ends , collect the cash and leave.

Couple of days back a mate of mine dragged me into FR - not somewhere any of my group tends to be, we all use invite only most of the time.

He was zipping round in a Lazer, not targetting anyone but some random in a Buzzard kept trying to shoot him down, so I got another Buzzard, shot his attacker. The guy was coming back ay me in yet another Buzzard, and so my mate decided to fire on him - except that he locked onto the wrong Buzzard!

In the early days I used to pick up players outside the Ft and drop them in the hangar to steal a jet, didn't take long for someone to get the jet and shoot me down

Saw this poor bastard getting double teamed by a pair of griefers up in Sandy Shores. I decided I'd go give him an assist. 2 on 1 is never fair or fun. So I pull up near the guy nice and slow, honking my horn showing I wasn't hostile. What's he do? Shoots me in the face and tries to steal my car. He clearly didn't figure out my settings was set to Passenger only, because he got out and tried to get back in again. Gave me enough time to get back over to my ride and put a shotgun shell in his back. Got back in my car and went on my merry way. Seeing his name pop up in the kill feed as a victim a couple seconds later again put a small smile on my face.

I agree. The answers to the OP's question are pre-determined. There is no way to do anything good in GTA Online free-roam that does not turn out bad.
