Weird swimming glitch...

Haven't really been on much lately so not sure if this has been posted but my character won't swim anymore. Matter of fact, he is walking on the ocean floor without running out of air...

I was walking towards the water on the beach with my heat-seeking rpg when all of a sudden my guy starts walking on the floor. At first I thought it was because the rpg was weighing him down but then I put it away. Now he can shoot underwater and everything else you can do on land, and when I walked as deep as I could go, he just teleported back on land.

Any ideas?

So you just walk into the water and don't drown? And you can use weapons?

If this is the case, then this has always been a bug in the game. Nothing new.

Walking on on the ocean floor like you experienced is an old, over a year old, glitch. There are many youtube videos and photos on the social club. There is also on youtube an intersting video of a mod that removes all the water where it is then possible to drive a motorcycle on a completly viewable ocean floor.

The glitch seems random despite claims by some youtubers that they can do it anytime. Lots of fun glitches/exploits have been killed by patch. So maybe a year ago this glitch was easy to do and then was patched.

Have fun whenever you experience this glitch and capture video and photos. Stay away from the deep water and you can explore for hours.

Changing the lobby you are in or exiting and then entering back to online should end this glitch as you may have already discovered.

A few days ago had a player escape a bounty via that glitch--and he certainly knew how to use it to his advantage, seeing as he was shooting back at my Buzzard through the water...

Not sure if it's just a PS3 glitch or more consoles..?

It wasn't just PS3. I remember being able to walk underwater on my 360 too.
