Before I even use iFruit...........

Before I even make an attempt to change the license plates on my vehicles in GTA Online utilizing iFruit to do so, I must ask if there's any tricks I should know or any common mistakes people tend to make while using it. I understand that once you change the license plates once, they're locked, so before this happens, any pointers?

In some cases rockstar will reset your plate for you 1 time incase you are not happy with it.

This is exactly what I was talking about, so iFruit will only let you change the License Plate in a universal proportion(meaning every car I own will be AQUAMOP, which is exactly what I want it to be)?

I miswordded that You're official plate which you set in the iFruit app will be on every car you own but you have to manually put them on each car though LSC unlike SP which will put the plates on your car for you. and make sure you are online once you've sent the order or else it takes forever to it to arrive once you get online

Use Charles. It'll be a huge help when it comes to plates being what you want and changing the colors of vehicles like the Speedo.

 

If you mess up and give a car a plate you don't want, like your username or something, you can fix it with Charles.

Ignore OM Charlies is a pain in the ass to set up and like the other guy said if you mess up they'll reset your plates and there are people on here who can change your plates for you.

 

Once you've made your plate select a random plate from the plate options than click Customize and than click order and accept your order and you have sent your first order your plates will be locked in once you send the order though iFruit you don't need to be online for it to go though but it's best that you are so it'll come though right away.

It's not really modding you are just overwriting the values sent that's all you won't get in trouble people have been using it ever since it came out and haven't had any issues.

 

It'd be idle to send it while sitting outside of LSC so soon as you get the order popup notfication you can drive in and once you drive in it'll give you only one option click that option and it'll add your plates.

 

For the rest of your cars you don't need to use iFruit anymore just drive your car to LSC go down to plates click Personal Plates than click the plate style you want.

You have to make an order before it will send...Open iFruit back up and select a plate backround than click "Customize" at the bottom of the app and than at the top of the app you will see an "Order" button click that and it will say order sent successfully once that happens you will get the order popup within the game it'll only take a few seconds from order til popup.

It doesn't matter. You register the license plate and it's yours. Forever. Then you just need to go to Los Santos customs and choose custom plate.
