Arctic Midnight
GTA:V and GTA:O are considerably large games. The Next Gen version (PS4/XBOX1) has their loading times severely reduced from that of their Xbox 360 and PS3 counterparts. With either copy you own, considering how large the game is, it's a shocker it loads this fast; or at all. You do have to load the game in order to play it; sort of like needing to pop the popcorn before you can eat it. In the main menu, you can reduce the loading time by selecting online so you don't have to load story mode first; simply by pressing one of the respective face buttons. I don't remember what they are for each console, but you may find that this speeds some stuff up. Now if there's something to complain about, it's the constant network errors. Wastelander (Suzuki)
Play some early PS-One games OP (Like Crash Bandicoot) The load times are measured in 5+ minutes... Well I'm going to use this a 3rd time: Like Wolf said could be worse, my Halo Custom Edition game takes 35 minutes to load due to me having over 100 custom maps, My Fallout New Vegas has over 125 mods and takes about 10 minutes to load. GTA is bad due to R* having sh*tty servers. ll Noble 6 ll 1 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/767606-dem-loading-times-tho/#findComment-1066977966 Share on other sites
owl-man
Be thankful you don't have to sit for 20 minutes like when waiting for a Garry's Mod server to load because of the sh*t load of addons. You would tear your skull out. dewtech
As above. Heavily modded Sims games would be 15-20 minutes loading times which were painful! Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/767606-dem-loading-times-tho/#findComment-1066981311 Share on other sites
Jammsbro
The game basically has to load in the conditions for that entire sessiona dn all of it's players. The loading times can be long at times. But just have something else at hand while waiting.
