Red DEAD Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) I also liked how the cops were in V (except for the rubber banding part) but its like real-life nowadays with the cops (if you live in the States) with the cops shooting people for no reason instead of trying to arrest them. Anyway, I doubt V would be as popular if it followed in IV's footsteps, even though IV does have a pretty considerably large fanbase, you have to consider the people who hated it as well as the more casual gamers. The physics, handling and overall dark tone didn't appeal to the masses, actually, one just has to look at TBOGT to see the evidence that Rockstar had already already broken off from the serious approach and headed into V's style of gameplay and story. Me, personally, I'd have liked it a tad more if it did, at least in terms of the storyline, don't get me wrong, I like the humor, but it's too much at times. And if V followed the steps of IV it would be simply more memorable game and a worthy successor to the well known and loved series. V was just a hollywood flick, a game of CoD generation as memorable as quick score from the nice girl you grabbed at the club last saturday. Can't we like whatever game we want? Why do some people get their feelings hurt when someone points out a flaw and stuff? Christ, and I thought the COD community was bad. They argue about each COD game one after the other on a YEARLY basis. I prefer Vice City over IV and V because well, I can. So, you should like whichever (or both) game you want and be you. If someone doesn't like a game that you like than why fight about it and nitpick every little thing? Just drop it and appreciate the games for what they are.
