GTA online:console is breaking, how to transfer from ps3 to ps3?

So my ps3 is starting to fail for some weird reason.

 

I can probably play 5 minutes of online before it freezes. same with story mode. Tried different disc.

 

If I get another ps3, how can I transfer my character and everything to that one? Not getting a ps4.

It is not possible as transfer is for Xbox one and PS4 only.

Everything is saved on the cloud. Just sign in with your username and stuff on the new PS3 and you'll still have everything.

The only time you need to worry about transferring is if you get a 360, Xbone, PS4, or PC.

Single player will (probably) only be stored locally. Take a backup of your game saves via the PS3 menu. But online is totally online.

You can transfer all your in game data on a USB ( this means story mode save files ) and save it to a new one, and dont worry about your online data stats, they get transferred on any ps3 cos its saved in the cloud or whatever

That is to back up single player data.

 

Gta online data is not saved by sony, it is on the R* servers.
