So does anyone think we're getting DLC tonight? And if heists are coming, when? This month is almost half way over, and there aren't many Tuesdays and Thursdays left which is Rockstar's usual favorite day to release content. How's that for on topic?

Tuesday is popular since that is the day the Xbox Marketplace (primarily) Updates. This has never been relevant to PS3/PS4 as they automatically Update so Sony can schedule releases differently (not sure how Xbone works). Not sure where Thursday came from.

 

At the end of the day, it still makes no sense to me if the Content does not come back since PS4/Xbone have not had the Update. Meaning all the work associated with improving the models, textures etc for the Valentine's Day Update Content for the PS4/Xbone/PC Versions is for the benefit of Returning Player's only; this would seem illogical.

 

Doubt they give a f*ck anymore. Feels like the whole regular update thing was only a bait to get old gen players to buy the game again in hope of more and better content on the new gen. They sold the game on the old consoles, stringed us along, sold the game again, no need to put any more effort into updates.

 

Heists is probably the only actual DLC before they abandon ship with GTAO. Even that is doubtful they will keep to their word and we get it before PC.

My guess is they'll delay it just one more time so it can be included with PC.

HAPPY so that they continue to buy their PRODUCTS and they continue to make REVENUES. First of all watch your tone. I wasnt't talking to you or anyone here in a disrespecting manner. Second exactly the reason Rockstar will not support this game anymore is because they are a company, their goal was selling the game and they succeeded two times. No point in putting any more effort into keeping the game fresh when they can concentrate on something new that will net much more than shark cards.

 

Your points completely contradict themselves. Lol, like they're going to spend time, money and other resources keeping the fans of a dead game happy, when they know people will buy their next product anyways.

The Valentine's update was my fav by far and I lost all of the content because I switched PSN when making the jump to PS4. I'll be genuinely pissed if they don't re-release it at some point

Well, looks like no DLC for valentines day...I don't see why they didn't do anything. It's still possible to receive it tomorrow, the day before valentines day. But there has never been a DLC drop on a weekend before, only patches.

My only Real Question is, when are R* going to give the Valentine's Day Content back that they EXPLICITLY stated on the Support Forum they had to remove as it was (supposedly) causing the Interaction Menu Bug after the Festive Update?

Well someone in this thread said that some of last year's Valentine's event stuff got leaked/some was buyable early ingame and then R* just launched it 'a day early'. This year they may activate the Valentinesness on the actual day, which still fits into the almost-always rule that I mentioned earlier of each social club news article being at least 2 days apart.

Tbh i would be gutted if nothing happens by the wkend i understand there sorting heists etc but its V day they gotta bring something even if its the same as last yr, as I like many missed out... :-)

Any other game would have this stuff annually, but this is Rockstar, the only annual things they do are:

1. Snow at Christmas.

2. Annual delay of Heists.

Still gonna be pissed if I can't pick up a Roosevelt, it meets all my requirements for a crew car.

How did anything I say contradict itself? People just throw words around so it looks like their arguments have weight to them, and you cannot be serious about thinking the "goal" was to "sucker" people into buying a game twice, I understand not having the patience to wait for everything but you atleast have got to have the comprehension to understand that Rockstar has stated multiple times that GTA Online is something they plan on working and updating continuously.
