Valentines Day DLC

So does anyone think we're getting DLC tonight? And if heists are coming, when? This month is almost half way over, and there aren't many Tuesdays and Thursdays left which is Rockstar's usual favorite day to release content. How's that for on topic?

Wait and see basically.

 

Tuesday is popular since that is the day the Xbox Marketplace (primarily) Updates. This has never been relevant to PS3/PS4 as they automatically Update so Sony can schedule releases differently (not sure how Xbone works). Not sure where Thursday came from.

 

At the end of the day, it still makes no sense to me if the Content does not come back since PS4/Xbone have not had the Update. Meaning all the work associated with improving the models, textures etc for the Valentine's Day Update Content for the PS4/Xbone/PC Versions is for the benefit of Returning Player's only; this would seem illogical.

 

Doubt they give a f*ck anymore. Feels like the whole regular update thing was only a bait to get old gen players to buy the game again in hope of more and better content on the new gen. They sold the game on the old consoles, stringed us along, sold the game again, no need to put any more effort into updates.

 

Heists is probably the only actual DLC before they abandon ship with GTAO. Even that is doubtful they will keep to their word and we get it before PC.

My guess is they'll delay it just one more time so it can be included with PC.

You sound like such an idiot, I wish all you over-dramatic pessimist with crackpot theories and beliefs of Rockstar being this big greedy Rockefeller-esque company that doesn't care about anybody except the 1%, could really see how ridiculous you sound... This has been said many times but really it's such a simple logic I'm surprised it just doesn't stick. R* is a COMPANY with an invested interest in keeping their CUSTOMERS (yes, you!) HAPPY so that they continue to buy their PRODUCTS and they continue to make REVENUES. They would never intentionally do anything to make us unhappy, no matter how much you believe it, and they aren't stringing you along for a quick buck what kinda dumb f*ck thinking is that? This series is the centerstone of R* creativity, so seriously doubt yourself if you think "they don't give a f*ck anymore"

They would have to release it before PC if they wanted PC to come complete with heists. We did get an update Christmas, but the game is feeling very stale and abandoned by Rockstar. The server need fixing among a plethora of other things. New content would be greatly appreciated. Throw the dog a bone here.

R* had the 6-8 hr fixing servers a few weeks back. I notice nothing changed good or bad for myself and not sure what R* focused on fixing with servers in that downtime.

 

No idea about that, I don't even remember that happening. The truth about heists is that when they release it, the in game economy turns more towards us players making our own in game currency and shark card sales will drop significantly. This cuts into Rockstar's cash flow, and that's more than probably why they continuously delay heists. That's my theory anyways, and it seems pretty sound if you ask me.

No they already took care of that problem by making the heists fairly long and adding the JP requirement. Casual players still won't be able to put enough time into missions/heists to get a decent paycheck. Especially with these vehicles that are to be added, cash cards WILL be bought

You may be right. But I would like to see a shark card boycott if heists don't come before PC. Rockstar will be making sheer profit after the release of PC, and they will have to rely on shark cards getting sold once all of that money runs down and believe me it will. People will learn the ins, and outs of the easiest highest paying heists and run it like there's no tomorrow.
