Valentines Day DLC

Um.. @russler97... they most definitely will do another valentines day DLC repeat of last year. They released the content last year only a day before February 14... chances are they'll do the same thing again and just release the stuff on Friday. It's not that hard to do, it's just a few outfits and a car, who cares?

 

 

I just want the damn heist content already. The PC version's release date seems more tangible at this point.

 

PC is meant to come with Heists.

 

Allowing time for the PC Version to go "Gold" the game Discs to be Manufactured, Shipped and subsequently Distributed almost certainly means Heists need to be finished by the end of February, if not sooner (as in already completed and R* are sitting on them). You do not want an Update holding up Final Checks and Balances for an entire game.

 

Wasn't the PS3/360 version also meant to come with heists? Rockstar has been delaying content in this game since before the game even came out, because they delayed it.

Should we have had the Christmas DLC on Christmas and not a second sooner? Because that would've been hilarious with the Lizard Squad.

Had almost completely forgot about it until reading SeaWallTx's Pinned Thread (he mentioned he did not have his Valentine's Day Masks back yet).

 

The Salient point from the Valentine's Day Support Post is that R* have not returned the Valentine's Day Masks to Players who had them Removed from their Inventory. This can mean only one thing, R* has to enable the Content again via Tunables to do so and cannot simply "Gift" the Masks back to Players as their own coding prevents such a content transfer (i.e the Valentine's Day Content is disabled unless already in a Player's Inventory).

 

In my mind this means a Valentine's Day Update is almost 100% Confirmed. If they could give the Masks back another way, they would have done so already.

no, as far as i know they've already fixed that problem and those who lost their masks got not only those they bought back but they got all of the valentines masks gifted (not only those they had before)!

This is exactly why I get annoyed by people complaining about not having the time to buy stuff last year. There are a few small excuses (hospitalized, an astronaut, maybe dead) but in general it was up for HALF A MONTH (much longer than any vacation).

 

 

 

What? In what backwoods country you live if two weeks is MUCH longer than any vacation? I get five weeks of paid vacation every year and can take more without pay if I want. o_O

 

Anyhow, what I find funny is that people here are whining because the car they bought with fake GTA-money is going to be on sale again. I paid real money to get my hands on Khameleon back when GTA V originally came out, 120 euros for the Collectors Edition to be more exact and now everyone can buy it. And I really don't care.

When R* used to do 2 x $GTA and 2 x RP events across the Board (or the Discounts for Contacts Services) they were toggled via Tunables at around 5 AM EST.

 

The whole Tuesday 5 AM EST for Updates came about only because this is when the X-box Marketplace for the 360 was Updated (always Updates on Tuesday's and less rarely on other days) so it made sense to Release Updates on this Day and Time.

It's quite likely current/next gen will get exclusive new content IMO, so yeah it'd have to be an actual update.
