If your a diehard fan and play on the daily then buy it but if your a casual then don't bother unless you also are gonna buy other games along with it. And just to warn you, it has got plenty of flaws like the old one too.

I wouldn't recommend anyone buy it, it's practically unplayable. All the old problems still exist plus more problems old gen didn't have, lol! They screwed up the traffic spawning and certain vehicles never spawn anymore, matchmaking still sucks and you get constant unknown errors and trouble connecting, I didn't play it long after buying new version and I was a die hard fan that played every day. The problems just became too much and it's no longer any fun cause there's not much new content and nothing to do that you haven't already done 10,000 times. It's pvp is so unbalanced and full of bugs/exploits that it's not competitive or fun, sometimes it takes one head shot from a heavy sniper and other times it takes 4 but they still only need 1 to kill you, it's a total crapfest. Save your money and buy a better game is my opinion.

^^^ LOL @ ''was'', maybe its a xbone problem, maybe get back into it?

On ps4 there were some issues, the only issue I have now is matchmaking could be better. Thats comming from someone that switches from ps3 to 4 on a regular basis.

Yeah that simply isn't the case in my experience. Are you on Xbone? I only ask because it seems a common pattern on here that there's moaning about how poor it is on new gen, compared to old gen, and then we find out it's Xbone. PS4 generally has hardly any issues compared to any of the other 3 currently available platforms. Yes, it has some, but it's definitely the most stable at the moment and I'd personally recommend upgrading to anyone who was going down the PS route.

OT : Yes, you buy it again as a new game.

The game itself is pretty stable on Xbone as well. Fact of life, network errors are always going to happen with online gaming.

The problem with the Xbone is Xbox Live being prone to mind-farts and senior moments.

That would be a good explanation, yeah. It's all built from the same code base, client up to server, so outside factors would have to be involved.

PS4 more stable than X1? LOOOL

Do I really need to dig up all the old threads regarding PS4 only problems? :facedesk:

P.S. I got 20$ for my 360 copy of GTA V :)

I'm just saying what I've seen, and apart from a couple of days a couple of weeks ago, PS4 has been better than PS3 for me, and I see more people complaining about Xbone. I'm not arguing with you or trying to prove you wrong - I'm just saying what I've seen.

I'm on ps4, had the issues on ps3 as well as ps4. To be fair I've not played it in a couple months so maybe there's been a patch and it's slightly better now but some issues from launch still exist so I doubt it, haha! Traffic on ps4 was screwed up, lots of vehicles never spawn anymore and matchmaking was horrible, connection errors actually worse than ps3. So disappointing, this game had so much potential but they can't/won't fix it and optimize it for some reason. You wouldn't think it would be that hard. There's just a million little things that are goofy that are totally obvious and Comon sense they should be different to me as an experienced gamer. Boggles my mind they can't see it, it's like they have never played a multiplayer game before and they didn't test anything before releasing it, lol

Lest we also not forget Chrismas when Xbox one was down for a few hours, whilst PS4 was down for a few DAYS.

Just getting into a party can be an achievement at times. It's a shame because XBL on the 360 was great with hardly any problems.

BiscuitTheCat59

enlighten me guys, so if i buy an xbox one and a new gtav for it, all my last gen data will be transferred to the xbox one even my gtao character's and current stats, etc?

Just your online stats, all your cars, apartments/garages, clothing etc will transfer. None of your single player stuff will transfer.

For me the the next gen snapmatic was worth the 60 bucks. I also got $25 xlive cash for preordering

not to mention the ability to capture video. This was done with video editing software on my PC but the video itself all came from the xbox capture device. some of it is slowed down but that's intentional to match the music.

original

Next Gen Gta shouldnt be full price anymore

You can find a new copy for about 35-40 if you try

For a die hard fan get it

If your really casual then meh

Depends if you enjoyed the game a lot on last gen

Next gen doesnt have a lot of games to begin with so thats another reason you should get gta on next gen

LOL I wasn't even aware that PS4 was down that long! Haha that's terrible...

I remember trying to go online on xmas but I couldn't and when I found out it's cause of those script kiddy losers, I just said f*ck it and didn't bother trying the rest of the day. Next day when I tried again, everything was back to normal... :)
