drift501
Am I the only one who has noticed cars get dirty a lot easier lately. I used to be able to cruise around Los Santos for days in game and my car looked like it just came out of the car wash but when I have been playing lately my cars seem to be getting dirtier a lot quicker. An example of this is when I was playing today. I took my Peyote from Franklin's garage and it was looking like it had just been washed but by the time I reached the hood to blast some Balla's my Peyote looked like it had been off-roading the whole journey. Note I was following road rules the whole way there so driving stupidly has to be ruled out. Osho
There are some features that have seen some nice improvements over time with each new release. Car wash is one of them the player can now really interact from being simply decorative objects in previous games. Its really cool to see Rockstar also focusing on making such common features as interactive as possible which gives me a good sign for our future games to have a whole lot of interactivity around. Now only they also raise the bar of the gameplay and innovative content that hasn't shown a great change in a satisfying manner putting more depth it still has to offer IMO. It will simply become the best game. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/766889-cars-getting-dirty-easier/#findComment-1066961043 Share on other sites
ddyoung
Does it really matter? Doesn't a car just get cleaned when you put it your garage and leave it for a little bit? And if it is a stolen car you're more than likely gonna get rid of it in about 5 minutes anyway clevertrev 1 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/766889-cars-getting-dirty-easier/#findComment-1066961066 Share on other sites

KuraiShidosha
I swear to god I am convinced Rockstar make minor tweaks to the game without you explicitly downloading patches. I just noticed the increased dirt buildup on my cars in the last week but we haven't officially received a patch in almost 2 months. Now this thread pops up and I know now it's not just my imagination. This about confirms it for me. No wonder why disconnecting my ps4 from the internet reduced crashes and oddities. Rockstar are constantly modifying game files even while I play single player. CarlitoDorito
If you drive along dirt roads when it's raining you get really dirty. Also if you zoom in on dirt on other cars, you can see where the rain has washed some off, streaks of dirt. It's a nice small detail that I never noticed before. Glock_Cz
When I driving around the world in my cars or bikes there is always clean. I don't have any modification on my cars. I can ride from Los Santos to Mount Chiliad and they perfectly clean. I spend some time in cars and I love when dust cover a car. Pedinhuh
That's great! Now if we could only have some car washes in better places then those two spots in LS only. At least in IV we had more than two car washes... jazzbone
For me the dirty cars are annoying in online where i drive the same car for an entire session. Having carwashes in Paleto Bay and Sandy Shore would help. Sandy Shore is the worst as i come out of a mission or Survival with an undamaged but filthy car. Single player is no problem as i change cars too often to care.
