GTA IV - This theme song has the tone that it's a dark, deep story and compelling. It has a somewhat depressing tune but the Eastern European vibe to it gives the appeal that this is the story of Niko, fresh off the boat let loose in Liberty City.

GTA SA - It's a theme influenced by West Coast Hip Hop, it's heavy bass mixed with lots of bell ringing and synthesizer tones. Basically this theme just says "San Andreas - it's a gang thang and if you ain't down wit it, you a buster homie."

GTA Vice City - Again, lots of synthesized tunes and electric piano. I'm sure Miami Vice was a big influence on this theme song. It gets you in the mood to play Vice City.

Liberty City Stories - Speaks volumes of the Italian influence, this gta mainly based on the Mafia and interestingly has an almost 'army drum beat' at it's conclusion.
