Aw my comment got removed? Haha oh man...Well,OP. You know how we normally deal with things getting interrupted. Repetitive bullet holes on the head, right? :D

I only shop at SubUrban. Normally the one west of Sandy Shores airstrip. No one has ever bothered me there. However, if you are more than a minute or so in any shop you may be playing the wrong game.

Edit: I don't mean you, hugh750. I mean anyone. Get in, get the special crate drop tee/hat and get out.

Turn on passive and shop uninterrupted.

Change clothing in invite only first.

I honestly never see anyone in free roam in the clothing stores....ammunation and lsc, but not clothing stores.

I don't shop in public sessions but if I see someone shopping I place a proximity mine outside on a car because that can kill a passive player. Its quite funny sometimes.

I own every article of clothing I care to own in this game. I have no business in the clothing stores.

I turned on passive and went to get a haircut while in there someone started shooting me and killed me. I think entering bob mullet turned off passive mode, i'm not sure how, never bothered to try it again.

If I don't feel like going after them I'll just stick a bounty on them and let someone else do it

Cry. Pop a midol. Put my heels back on. Go home and watch Friends on Netflix.

LOL.

That said, I'm usually the one interrupting. I find it fascinating how freaking long people spend in the clothing store. Someone yesterday was in the one near the popular LSC and I blocked them in something serious. I watch as they spend a ton of effort unblocking the door - somehow they manage it. What do they do? Go right back to shopping and I blocked them in again.

Seriously though, is dressing your character that interesting that you can spend 5,10, 15 minutes in there?

Lastly, I've had a few instances lately where - if someone is blocked in and can't get out but they've tried enough to get out that there's a crack in the door, the mugger has still been able to get them although they can't get out.

I've never been interrupted in Paleto Bay stores cause everyone is down in LS fighting it out.

i usually go into passive mode first, then i shop so when a cheeky bastard tries anything he wont be able to kill me, on the other hand i love interrupting peoples shopping with a nice assault shotgun to the back of the head :)

And what game should they play instead? Saint's Row? Sunset Overdrive? Any other game in this genre that lets players personalize their character? 'Such a stupid reply.

Forgive me, and this might be a little too much for you to grasp, but people enjoy certain features in games that you might not care for. It doesn't mean they're playing the wrong game. It just means they're enjoying it differently than you would.

*Edit*

On-topic: Full outfit changes are only supported by the clothes store up the street from my house in Paleto Bay. Usually people that own homes there aren't out for blood so I don't worry about dodging bullets there. If there ever comes a time though - as others said, fight back. Since he/she attacked you from a vulnerable position, i.e a sucker punch = Anything f*cking goes. I call up my Rhino which has multiple spawn points in the Bay and I let them know they made a mistake.

So you are in there for what? 10, 20 minutes, half an hour. What are you doing? Anyway, a player would have let themselves get in the "vulnerable position" that's not very smart at all, is it?

edit: I read your edit again. You would do this? Spend ages in a shop, in an open session, paying no attention to the outside world and if some one came and shot at you or mess with you, you would tank grief them because it was somehow their mistake?

I always go Passive mode when i Go to Ammunation or any store for that matter. When i see somebody trying to act smart and try's to act like they are driving somewhere else, i quickly push down the D pad to see the person's name. After that they always blow up my PV so then..I'll go confront them about it since they decided to start something they shouldn't done so.

Always buy clothes in solo session. If I see someone in any store I bee line it and toss a prox mine or sticky (if traffic or NPCs pass to close). Then i run and try to get a good vantage point to watch my masterpiece.

That or the classic parking a truck in the door blocking them inside.

Its harmless trolling. No lengthy spawn kills and only a little bit annoying.

Figured out a new one today.

1. Take a car to the clothing store near LSC.

2. Jam car into store, opening doors.

3. Get on top of car, throw prox mines through open doors on the floor of the store right in front of car and preferably the closer to the entrance the better.

4. Go into passive.

5. Walk away from the area completely and go out of passive.

6. Come back a few moments later, the car is no longer stuck between the doors but is in front of them and the doors are closed shut.

7. The store is closed but the prox mines are still inside, although you cannot hear them and they are not readily visible unless you really look.

If you walk up to the door to try to get in and the prox mines are close enough to the door, they will blow despite the store still being closed. If done right, you will get people who aren't looking and don't realize the store's closed.

TLDR: Jamming car into clothing store and throwing prox mines on the floor towards front of store not only accomplishes closing the store but if done right will still get people who don't bother to see that the store is closed.
