Dock
(Not even sure if I'm posting this at the right place, but it seems correct to me. Anyway...) I've owned both vehicles at one point or the other, and I'm planning to get either one, but I'm kind of in a dilemma there. They both look drop dead gorgeous, especially their rear ends (heheh). I'm not aware of what changes they've gone through on current gen, and I'm preparing my garage for PC, so I need advice I guess. Though I have $10m+ on the main toon, I cant afford to waste it trying my self ("hists" stuff), so I'd like current (and previous owner's) thoughts on them. Do they sound better, if so which one, which one looks more appealing now (if changed I guess, and this is obviously a subjective feature but I'd like to hear what you think regardless). Thanks! Guest
On last gen I preferred the stinger over the monroe for racing. Now on current gen I always use the monroe or coquette classic. The stingers acceleration is poor and the handling can be tricky in public races. Especially when players try to pit you. Looks and sound wise I would go with the stinger. Racing? Monroe or Coquette Classic.
Dock
Not planning on racing with sports classics, and even if I do end up in a lobby with that class, I'll just let it be. So Stinger GT it is! Thanks! Free roam cruiser is my intention.
dewtech
Monroe for me. Pretty sure it's a bit cheaper and is imo better looking Maya Echo Visari, SHXC and Dock

Guest
He's used filters on that picture. You don't need any when you take pictures of the stinger.

Ghost XB
I'v had both but I prefer the Monroe. Its cheaper and its Ford GT40 and Lamborghini Muria, two of the best looking cars ever made IMO
Sweedy
I prefer the stinger for looks, monroe for racing, neither are outstanding in class for me.
JC Hammer
I wouldn't race the Stinger or the GT, I went with the Stinger cause I dont like the look of the GT. The Coq classic is a better looking hard top. I also have the Monroe and of course a Z Type. and a Pigale in my racing garage. dewtech
The Z-Type is still hugely ahead for racing sports classics isn't it? Been a while since I competed in one.

I love the Stinger, not a fan of the GT and the Coq does look much better for the hardtop look. And the Monroe is a beaut, pick that over a GT. I wouldn't say hugely ahead, the more twists in track the better the Pigale performs. plus I just couldnt put off road tires on my Z
Asphy
I personally like the Monroe more than the Stinger. I think if you look at the vehicle on a nice summer day, It's screaming for a good time in Vespucci Beach.. Running over people and getting food at Al Dente's afterwards ofcourse. AllNighter1
I honestly prefer the looks of the Stinger GT; It's based on the classic Ferrari and Jaguar E Type coupes. Those gorgeous flowing lines, the independent throttle bodies through the rear glass, beautiful. The Monroe is also nice, but for looks (and cruising) IMO, hands down, Stinger GT. Put some Lowrider Wire Mesh rims on it and call it a day, it is perfect. The handling does leave much to be desired however. I could never use my Stinger for racing, for that I have my Coquette Classic, another gorgeous whip. Phantomspirit
ringtone7
Stinger GT, as beautiful as she is, acts like a unicorn. The vehicle has sub-par acceleration with a weaker top speed than the Moroe. It takes a certain swirl to control it's oversteer in tight corners and during police chases that get too hairy, you'll be at a considerable disadvantage due to it's lack of traction. Despite these flaws I continue to use it in missions primarily, gives me a special style, considering I rarely see it with other players. Monroe is more attuned to competition driving, and it's also a good choice for a getaway car, both are very gorgeous vehicles and deserve to be treated as such. If I were you I'd keep both of em. Ghost XB
I have rethought my opinions. The Stinger GT actually looks better. Monroe's still cheaper. Its either slightly better looks or slightly cheaper Dock
Dock
I'll go Stinger GT, maybe a Monroe on a second character when PC drops. Not planning on using it for racing, so I guess that's it! Thanks peeps!
Ghost XB
If I were you I'd get both. The Monroe really isnt that much so I'd say first get the Stinger GT, if you like it keep it and save for the Monroe or Get the Stinger GT, if you dont like it sell it for the monroe (im pretty sure the Stinger GT sells for how much the Monroe costs). Or you could go the James Bond route and get the JB 700. Its cheap, looks great, and modified its really quick. (To be fair I think a new car is awesome every week) Dock
TheSkidKid
I currently own a Stinger GT, took me ages to save up but it was worth it. Not too sure about the front but the back is pure 60s 250 GTO. Although it's a great car, I prefer the Monroe, you don't see many people driving them and its much cheaper. In the end, it's your choice.

(To be fair I think a new car is awesome every week) It's not really a question of being bale to afford them, I can easily do that (whee ), it's just that I have NO SPACE in my garage. Having just ONE slot left make it an issue really. I won't be purchasing either till PC drops anyway (most likely), but yeah. To remedy this issue, I'll be making a second character , which is probably good anyway since I'll be playing with friends who've waited for the PC version since the game was announced back in 2011 and I'd like to progress with them. Of course, I'll have the advantage of still retaining my money, but meh, I'll just spend less. Anyway, Stinger GT first I guess, has that appeal to me right now. Thanks for your input!
