Family Rank Legend:

Underboss: The Underboss is the second in command of the family, who acts in the Don's place when he is gone. Although the Don has final word, the Underboss holds much influence and authority throughout the entire family. They run the day to day operations of the family at times.

Consigliere: A Consigliere holds a special position, reserved for the Don's chief adviser. Like the Underboss, they have authority over any Capo and all others bellow them, although they are less of a 'boss' than the Underboss, more of a right hand man.

Caporegime: A Capo will have gone through rigorous training and proved infinite loyalty to the family. A Capo has authority over any and all ranks bellow them. They entrusted with much greater tasks whether it be leading a crew into a fight, setting up a forum or managing money and books. Capos have many great responsibilities that they must attend too. Much trust is given to Capos by the "Administration".

Pezzonovante: Big earner and or Button-Man. This is the highest honour that can be given to any soldier, this rank is a symbol that you are highly decorated and well respected amongst members of the Borgata. Now it is time to see if you are fit as leader and have what it takes to become Caporegime.

Sgarrista: Sgarrista or also known as "Soldiers" are the 'made men' of the family. They have been inducted through hard work and determination. A Sgarrista has authority over any Associate, Wiseguy and Giovane D'Honore though is still expected to listen to Capos and above ranks. Generally Sgarrista's shouldn't be telling high ranks what to do; they are allowed to branch out in to their own business ventures.

Enforcer: This is a low ranking Soldier (however you are not yet 'made'); you’ve proven yourself time and time again as an Associate now much more is expected of you. Show your dedication to the family, your loyalty, skill and competence and you soon will become a ‘Made Man’.

Associate: You'll be learning the ropes, either through role-plays or Free Modes and other activities. You're encouraged to seek out your superiors for guidance, but don't hassle them when they're busy with business. Prove you're loyal, active, and intelligent for a promotion.

Wiseguy:A higher ranking ‘Giovane D'Honore’. You’ve hung around for a short while and are starting to understand how the family works. This is where you'll lay the ground work towards becoming a vital member of the Borgata.

Giovane D'Honore: Giovane D'Honore also referred to as an "Outsider" is the lowest rank. This is someone new to family, more of an "errand boy" than anything else. You'll hang around for awhile then with activity and interest you'll soon move up in the family.
