The Countdown in Google Results

A sister topic for the New Countdown in Pictures thread, this thread aims to search the number of the days left in google.

 

Here, each day, participants will google for the days left, like 39 or thirty nine, and pick out things they find that are interesting and that also may be interesting to others.

 

So, since it's 39 days left in some places of the world as I write this, I will search simply "39"

 

I ended up going 5 pages in and finding a link to a wikia page for Tales of Suspense #39, the first appearance of Marvel Comics' Iron Man. I thought it was pretty cool so here is the link;

I saw some other cool things on the way. Like check out this girl who is 39 inches tall due to a rare abnormality that only effects about 100 people in the world, I found it to be inspirational and motivating;

There were loads of weird stuff when you just search the number. I did not search "Thirty Nine" I'll leave that to some of you.

 

Some considerations before we begin:

 

1: If you find something interesting, odds are, someone else will find something interesting about it as well.

 

2; If you find what was shared by someone as uninteresting, that's fine. Just try to keep discussion about interesting things, and not what you find uninteresting. In other words; if someone posted this link:

You might not be interested at in that, but others may be, and whoever posted it certainly was. So respect that. Feel free to discuss and comment on shared links, just keep it to what interests you, and what others have posted that you also found interesting.

 

And something to consider for searchers:

 

Once you go into a few pages of google, you enter the sandbox. The sandbox is like a dogpile of stuff ranked differently than the first few pages. Some terms will have a lot of ranked pages before the sandbox, and other terms will have only a minimum of 2 actually ranked pages. That doesn't devalue your findings, in fact, if you don't find anything cool on the first few pages, jump deep into the sandbox and start browsing there.

 

It doesn't have to revolve around someone who is 39 inches tall. It could be a page that just contained the word thirty nine and/or 39.

 

It doesn't have to be about the number 39 at all. So, in other words, you can link a 39th page of a forum post if that was the only reason it came into the search results, but that is interesting or strange or otherwise potentially entertaining for others. This would be perfectly valid, because it contained "39" and it interested you and you found it on google, either ranked or [a little] randomly in the sandbox, so there is likelihood others will find it interesting as well.
