Hey guys (especcially the Germans here)!

 

What do you think of a German - audio mod for GTA V?

 

I want to make one with tools like OpenIV and think it could be cool to understand the complete audio in GTA V.

Sure, many things are subtitled already, but many other things aren't. I think it could be an awesome project for people who cant learn English cause of e.g. disabilities.

 

So what do you think of the idea.

I don't think you quite understand just how much audio material GTA V has...

I know that it's a hard thing. But it's possible. R* needed ~ a half year. I will do it in 1 - 2 years.

You do realize you need like, voice actors (and good ones), lines and lines of script (the script is a huge mess of pages that never stops), recording in

great conditions so it doesn't sound like sh*t etc?

Yes I know how to do it The protagonists and other main actors will have to have a good voice and a good microphone. All others will get small parts only. I will do the mod mission - by - mission. Dont be pessimistic I'll do it

For better sound in your room, get some egg cardboards at your local supermarket and put them on the walls so they absorb echoes.

And get a really good microphone with the shade in front of it.

 

And post some audio. Do the prominent dialogues first, like the Hipster talk. Post video of it and pick interest.

 

And last but not least - female voices.

And, by the time you're done, GTA VI will already be out.

Already done 3 or 4 years ago I guess^^ (Ofc. microphone is newer)

I already have voice actors. I'm just searching in GTA forums for some german people^^
