The Many Communities of GTA

We all have our own opinions and experiences with each of the different "communities" as we call them, and you, or somebody you know, prolly has some complaints about em. Or maybe they don't. Everyone's attitude on the topic is different.

 

One way or another, a particular "community related" issue (or two) always seems to find its way in discussions from other threads. Maybe you have some solutions, maybe you just have an opinion on which is the most important. Feel free to discuss em here.

But this is the world we live in now, where anyone can marry anyone, look like anything, act however the mood strikes, shoot and kill in justice, and for nothing at all, do drugs, sell drugs, get wasted, drive under any human condition, ruin people's lives and careers over trivial things and, and... I could go on and on... Isn't it great?

^ fair enough. I don't honestly care enough to the point it bothers me when I'm not doing anything GTA related. But having those kind of people present does not help the mature gaming community.

 

We already have enough red tape and politics to cut and dodge to get decent mature games for those so inclined.

Gta online players as a whole are not something i would ever call a "community". Player base, at most. In case of GTAO, and any game for that matter, communities must be centered around something, something that gathers like-minded people. Racing crews or dm crews are good examples. I sure don't belong to the same community as buch of sh*tty "youtubers" and their following of squeakers, who easily make most of GTAO population.

First, I'd like to ask that you read every other post on THIS THREAD (there aren't very many posts as of yet). You might be used to seeing a different attitude other places and see a lot of the same whining and crying all the time. However, you may have jumped the gun on this one, cause as of RIGHT NOW Everyone else is just calmly expressing their thoughts/opinions.... Except for you yo lol. Given your fascinating word choices, I'd say YOU seem the be the ONLY one "bitching" here, if there is any bitching going on at all. Your response is very much riddled with some kind of frustration.

 

There is also plenty of irony in what you said. You are conveying just as much frustration in your post as one who would be "bitching about the the way other people play" would convey; and in effect, you are essentially "worrying about worrying about what everyone else" is saying and doing by addressing it the way you did.

 

I believe I've seen you say similar things on other threads, so you obviously feel strongly about what you have to say. Ain't nothing wrong with that. I just suggest you follow your own advice and chill some yo lol. Like, really.

Lol, as I said, bitching is attitude portrayed by your word choice and use of language. Simply expressing an opinion is not bitching yo. It's all in how you choose to express your point. As I said, you fussing and getting all work up about what other folk choose to pay attention to would seem both like bitching and being hypocritical at the same time. But, if you have a different definition of "bitching" I guess you are allowed the right to your own opinion on it lol.

 

Personally, I never mentioned if I cared or didn't care. All I did was make a thread to allow people with an opinion on something to discuss it. Why does having a negative opinion have to be bitching? And a positive one have to be fanboying/dick riding? Smh everything ain't that extreme. Aside from that, if you saying you don't care, all you had to do was vote for the last option on the poll and be on about ya business. But, you must have some interest in the "community" or whatever if you took the time to join the forum and create a profile...

 

At any rate, I would hope that you realize ain't no grown folk taking GTA that serious, cause the game ain't that deep. But was IS deep, is the manifestation of human behaviors, exhibited by the way players interact both in game and outside of the game, and THAT is what is ultimately at the heart of the matter of a discussion of this kind, wether everyone involved realizes or not. It doesnt have to get that philosophical or profound or heavy, within these conversations cause the context is still GTA, but that's really what this is all about. Or anything for that matter.

I vote for the actual players. Most of the YouTubers are pretty bad, and forums are usually pretty hostile and stupid, but both of those are optional.

 

Doesn't matter though, the only time it will change is after pretty much all the commoner rabble have moved on to something more popular... But until then we are stuck with "CROOKSTAR KESH KERDS" and "OMG SO MUTCH AIRE BRO" races and constant free-roam deathmatches and "SECRIT CAR COLERZ IN GTA ONLINE LIEK DIS VIDIO!!" bull****.
