GrindoLindo
ENB-less GTA IV Description: For those who would rather stick with the default gta iv visuals but would like disable all the post processing effects that lower fps and make things blurry and glowing. (which i'm sure lots of people hate, not just in this game but loads of other games) By just do this you'll gain some fps, the game will look better and clearer and you won't have to spend ages trying to choose from a million enb mods. I wasted loads of time trying all sort of enb releases and got fed up looking on youtube at all the videos claiming so and so enb is the best...so just decided to improve the visuals with what one already has. All I used was notepad & TimecycIV (awesome tool btw) and a thread that mentioned the farclip tweak. No DOF No Bloom No Motion Blur No other blur at all Equal colour to all times of day and weathers, things still get a tint on them but won't go so washed out looking Darker Shadows Darker Sunsets / Sunrises 3500 farclip (gains you a few more fps and lets you see the entire city from up high) what do these files do? visual settings - edited to remove blur effects from things like the busted / wasted screens, getting shot and so on. Also bloom is removed, like the glow on everything, makes the game look too bright in some places and just it's just ugly. > referring to bloom and not the new look. timecyc - gets rid of the washed out look for all weathers and times of day (all as best as I could do), all that you needed to do is change desaturation, gamma & contrast from their default values to 1.00, making everything look more natural with colour added back to the world. I started off with just setting desaturation to 1.00 and it looked great. I then tested gamma & contrast on 1.00 to see what happened was happy with the results. Basically the last two ended up making certain times of day a bit darker (more realistic) in my opinion, most noticeably the shadows appear darker, night is more like night, sunsets have a nice dark orange and cast a nice tint over buildings. patched shaders, gets rid of all blur completely, definition stays on but P does nothing now so no more accidental screen blurring if you have P binded to something else. You'd have to download and check for yourself to see the difference. I can't do videos as I don't have the skill yet. I will try and add some screens. A backup of the original file is included in each download. GTA IV: for v1.0.7.0 visual settings dat: http://www.mediafire... Blur or DOF.7z timecyc dat: http://www.mediafire...fiy5/Timecyc.7z patched shaders for no blur at all: soon EFLC: for v1.1.2.0 visual settings dat: soon tbogt visual settings dat: soon timecyc dat: soon tlad timecyc dat: soon tbogt timecyc dat: soon patched shaders for no blur at all: soon Thought I'd make a proper thread, the other one was crap. I'll upload all the edited files shortly, had re-do the timecyc as if you mess with the farclip on Temp it screws up the game, or I might of just missed a value change and that messed up my game...I was standing on the spot and then a big mass of blue washed over the whole map covering everything in darkness, but when i re did all the values except the ones under temp it was all good.
