Whats useful to some is not useful to others.

 

What would be useful to you?

 

Well i do see usefull things like glitches to make money/change characters appearence/show interesting places etc. But not the bullsh*t that ruins the game like god mode and other stuff. And of course those pre-update videos were Youtubers just boast their opinions thinking they are the Truth.

I like gameplay, less commentary, cop chases, gang shootouts, mountain climbing (with a vehicle), insane jumps/flips/rolls, none of that "1500 likes for my hard on".

useless glitch videos, followed by the stereotypical "DONT FORGET TO LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE" can f*ck right off

 

i'd enjoy some well-made machinimas though. i'd also enjoy some decent competitive racing videos.

 

i'd REALLY enjoy some videos exploiting the anger of idiots in freeroam too.

GTA does not require youtube videos. It is a pretty straight forward game.

 

Console games in general are pretty straight forward with only a few actually needing game guides (i.e. Dark Souls).

 

For me video games are a perfect medium for telling stories, re-enacting scenes, as a way of animation.

 

 

You know, you can actually go to school for that and make a decent living. Contribute something to the gaming community with something other than " remember to subscribe and slap that like button."

Just funny moments type videos. I used to watch BenBuja and his bloopers/funny moments videos(which had some great editing and music along with it, that made it all perfect).

He was my favorite, but he seemed to have stopped uploading videos.

 

Now I basically just watch Vanossgaming. Him and his crew are pretty funny.

Like everyone else it seems, I don't like dubstep in the intro or as background music. I actually didn't mind it at one point but it's a stone cold cliche now.

 

In terms of content, I would have liked to see someone customising cars and test driving them, but someone who actually knows about cars and can talk about them properly, not just "oh it gone fast round dat corner". And doesn't customise them like Liberace.

 

It's not as relevant to me now as a GTAO old hand but at one point good quality car showcases by someone who actually has a clue what they're talking about would have been helpful and interesting for sure.

There really isn't much use for a single game Youtube channel unless it's a indepth MMO where lots tactics come into play.

 

I used to watch TypicalGamers channel when he started doing GTA videos and it was very good because there was still a ton of unknown content. So you had Easter Egg's, interesting locations, Vehicle/Weapon/Property comparisons, recommended races/missions, information about updates and so on. Now there just isn't enough content so you end up with him playing the game with others unfortunately the others tend to be extremely annoying people one a Pewdie Pie rip off of all things.

I exclusively watch YouTube videos to inform me (walkthroughs). I don't watch em for entertainment, I prefer playing games for that. Occasionally I'll watch radbrad to see what the new games are like.

I think it's cool when you can be funny and not say ANYTHING. Some of those vids are the best.

 

I'd personally like to see a series where you give people fun things to do alone and with other people.

 

And maybe another where you give us useful guides and tips for the game modes. I.E. How to land without rolling or stumbling while parachuting.

I can think of a couple that are pretty good. A forumer here posted his ode to Clockwork Orange. I've personally made several videos that would fall more into the cinematic side of things compared to gameplay.

TBH I have never seen a cinematic GTA video. You talking like old school arby and the chief style clips? where its like full voice acted etc etc.

 

That could be good but the machinima like these I have seen take like 2-3 months to produce one 10 minute clip. I never seen a GTA video with more than 3 hours work put into it

My buddy does something like this. Doesn't take him nearly as long. Granted he could use some work, but he is new to this and his videos are getting better. His channel name is Drewoid (I think I spelled that correctly).

I dont like people that beg for sh*t and i dont do glitches so i dont care about the populair youtubers

That being said...i love those vids were crewmembers do crazzy fun sh*t with compact cars, cargobobs and so on

also as a youtube member(dont make vids though) there are already vids about anything in that game there

the trick is simply to find those people out and them consider subscribing to them :)

Personally I really like the Vanoss, Lui, H2O gangs videos, none of the 'like for this' bull, just having fun
