I know Youtubers get ALOT of heat around here. And I completely understand, because I hate most of them, too. Which may sound contradictory, being one myself, but it is because ALOT of the ones for GTA are stains on the community.

 

So I want to ask the forums, you peoples, what it is you like to see and would like to see in GTA Youtube videos.

Well i do see usefull things like glitches to make money/change characters appearence/show interesting places etc. But not the bullsh*t that ruins the game like god mode and other stuff. And of course those pre-update videos were Youtubers just boast their opinions thinking they are the Truth.

Personally, I can't get behind cash/RP glitches, so you will never see those from me. Gate/Door/Swingset Glitches, ohhhh yeah!

 

How about Mission Guides. Car Testing. and/or Player Job Showcases?

I can tell you what I DON'T wanna see:

 

-Wasting a minute of my life each and every video with "like and subscribe" bullsh*t

-Live (recorded) video's with: A; Squeekers, B; Hysterical laughter (if I wanna see/hear a pack of wild hyena's I'll look up some AnimalPlanet) C; 1500 times "OMG, that's epic/hilarious" when it's obviously not unless you were part of it.

-Fake sh*t.

If I wanted to condone myself to that, I would have gone to The Opium.

 

It's an underground nightclub in an abandoned world war 2 warehouse where they serve you all kinds of toxic hallucinative drugs with flashing colorful lights covering all inside areas, non-stop skrillex at high volumes and hearing people scream not knowing if they're either having an overdose or being strapped to a chair having their organs extracted by a man holding a rusty hacksaw in the next room.

 

The reason it hasn't been shut down yet is because the local cops were bribed into keeping it secret since the owners earn so much off of drugs as well as people disappearing there. But hey, lots of people still go to it every friday.

That being said...i love those vids were crewmembers do crazzy fun sh*t with compact cars, cargobobs and so on

also as a youtube member(dont make vids though) there are already vids about anything in that game there

the trick is simply to find those people out and them consider subscribing to them :)

Step 3. Make her open the box.

Step 4. Understand this is the difference between a GTA video that has relevance and a GTA video that someone is looking for "hits" on.

Step 5. Rinse & repeat, McLovin.

This ^^

 

Constructive stuff that will make the game more playable (for most players). For example, I like VanossGaming, but it's just a bit boring after a while. Doing something that I can take into the game and do myself is the way to go. I think that's the kind of content that would bring most of your viewers back and actually be interested to see what you're gonna post next.

GTA does not require youtube videos. It is a pretty straight forward game.

 

Console games in general are pretty straight forward with only a few actually needing game guides (i.e. Dark Souls).

 

For me video games are a perfect medium for telling stories, re-enacting scenes, as a way of animation.

-no constant subscribe banners throughout the video

-no begging for likes and subs BEFORE giving the info

-no photoshopped thumbnails

-no tagaholic titles
