ChumCrumpet
Another R* rage thread... Calm down people.. They have nothing to show.. Expect something next month. Your sig! Seriously bro. This is not Indian election. Um so I was wondering if you are still buying GTA V, seeing your GPU doesn't meet minimum requirements I was wondering whether or not you're still getting it. Yeah I'm buying it. And my GPU can play the game. Period. And it states 9800GT as a minimum. So, the GT 610 clearly meets the minimum specs. Proof? Here: Anything from SystemRequirementLab is not proof. Yeah you 610 can run the game but backing it up with this glitchy-ass website isn't anything to proof. Plus why would we need proof? We've seen the specs. RedIndianRobin
MajorVienna
That bird stunting/videos article is still on top of the social club news, it's doing my head in. Seriously I just want to see a news article on anything else, as long as it's not another red hook bike race.
RedIndianRobin
Plus why would we need proof?Because some elitists go mad when I say I will be able to run GTA V. Edited February 21, 2015 by RedIndianRobin
ienvy
Plus why would we need proof? Because some elitists go mad when I say I will be able to run GTA V. Whats annoying is that you say your card meets minimum because you compare it to the GT 9800, which is the minimum card required. And your card happens to be quite abit slower than the 9800. So basically youre spreading false information that might have an effect on someone else in your position. Expecting to play GTA V with that card is not a good idea. Im not telling you what to do, but if someone with your card looks around and finds this they should be aware that their card is most likely not gonna cut it. Its pretty simple, do a google GT9800 vs GT 610. Dont use systemreqlabs.

Well we don't know whether R* ever tested the game on a GT610 so we can't say that it's not possible. It's his choice to buy the game if he can't play it then he could play it after he upgrades his PC.Therefore buying the game isn't a waste of money technically. And there's no point in discussing his specifications... If a guy can run FC4, or ACU, then he can run GTAV.. without doubt. or1
According to my estimates, Geforce 610 can run GTAV with 15/19 FPS 15 FPS - 1024x768(Low) / 19 FPS - 800x600(Low/Medium) Can he play with 15/19 frames per second? Yes, Of course it's not the best experience. But at least he can play, And that's what counts. RedIndianRobin

Totallycasual
Their silence worries me, having said that i would rather they come out and tell us about a delay now rather than 2 weeks before launch like last time, got me all excited then pulled the rug out from under me
SWATsqad™
lol pederasto. That's kinda funny And makes me want to end world hunger, too. But it is true about the overclocking, if you overclock *your ram* it garbles gta IV's audio. dude.... no. just... no. Without any irony, its just a sped up video... this is PC we're talking about, overclocking doesn't work that way. Yes, overclocking does work that way - strange things can happen in software when overclocking. In the case of GTA IV, when you turn your ram to turbo or extreme in bios and make the board overclock your ram, you will get this kind of sound error in IV, I got it myself and that was the cause, that's why I said it Yea, it's not supposed to happen, but in this case, that's what it is Strange but true bug. I'll assume you are using a pre LGA775 system. So since I'm not a history teacher, I can't help you any further.
TheMostKnowledgable
I'm using LGA775, actually.
