JLarwood
There seems to be a huge bug thats spawning hundreds of the same car (mostly taxis) in to traffic. I don't have tons of mods installed, only the basics like Simple Trainer 6.5, ASI Loader, ICEnhancer 3.0 and around 5 Vehicle mods. My current specs are: i5 Quad Core @ 3.2GHz GTX760Ti 2GB 8GB Ram Windows 8.1 I have tried using fix-mods like Traffic Loader and Traffic Flow, but neither seem to change anything. Anybody have an answer? or some advice? Thanks Edited February 12, 2015 by JLarwood TLarwood
GrindoLindo
I had the same problem a while back when i tried out some car packs, none of them worked and I just ended up seeing lots of taxi's, no one had a solution so i gave up and just stick with the stock cars. edit, i did see an asi fix for the taxi thing a while back, but i can't remember where it was or if it works. JLarwood
Think sticking with the stock vehicles is the only option its a shame theres no way of fixing or permenently deleting the taxi's. oh well.... thaks for the reply bud

chasez
Not sure if it has anything to do with the heavy model size but I'm 100% sure that resizing texture quality to really low helps with the taxi bug. Having just one car installed with like two 2048x2048 sized textures in the wtd file creates the taxi bug, resizing them to 512x512 very much helps. I also know that for example resizing original tuga model three times bigger will make the game lag. So that is pretty much confirmation on how primitive GTA IV's rage engine version is. jeter2
Do not replace stock cars with modded cars, that will cause Taxi Bug Instead this is what I use, they are called added car packs and you spawn them in with simple native trainer, its really simple Heres a few links to get you started Loupings 41 Car pack (I use this currently) http://www.gta4-mods.com/vehicles/louping0s-41-car-pack-added-cars-v50-f30592 Richmans car pack (Used in the past very nice as well) http://www.gta4-mods.com/vehicles/rich-mans-added-car-pack-2012-v1-f14967 Simple Native Trainer http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/simple-trainer-version-65-f2115 If you do not like a certain car in these car packs you can just use OpenIV or SparkIV and use your prefered Car mods and replace the ones in these car packs! I have so much Car diversity now since i started using added car packs instead Good Luck GrindoLindo
TJGM
@jeter2 or he could just use RIL Budgeted which fixes the taxi bug.. jeter2
GrindoLindo
that budgeted thing doesn't fix it if you use mods that replace the cars, i tried it, along with all the other replacing car mod taxi fixes. all i got was loads of taxis and lots of a single type of non taxi car driving around. basically all taxis, police and one other type of car. the added car pack worked perfectly though + simple trainer to spawn cars, you don't have to spawn the new cars though as i saw ai driving around in them as well as the stock cars which was cool. Yah I learned it by myself a while ago and was surprised how effective it was, so much Vehicle diversity Nice Rig BTW, That was one of the ones I was considering when I was buying a gaming Laptop Thanks for Thumbs Up! GrindoLindo
you've got a sweet one, msi are pretty solid and reliable and the maxwell gpu's are excellent overclockers. (good news about nvidia enabling overclocking again soon! i used to have an alienware but they are crap imo, overpriced and way too heavy, they are all for show and fail quite a lot, dell eww. (i didn't buy it new though) the usb ports kept cutting out and i had issues with heat. must be why there's always so many of them on fleabay ahah...mine came amazon though. The worst thing about them is that stupid glossy cover they put over the screen...so stupid, you can't even replace the screen without ripping the thing off and breaking it. jeter2
