Chasing a bounty is its own reward. The most purely fun thing to do (both the hunting and the running) in the game.

There's more to bounty hunting or survival than money. Not everyone plays the game to see more zeros on their screen.

That maybe true furry. Maybe I do see zeros in my game and want to keep increasing my income more and anything that has a negative profit I don't participate in.

Bounties do not have a negative profit, and your earlier statement about a bounty not being worth a pack of bullets is ridiculous. Even a $1000 bounty nets you more money than the cost of the bullets it'd take to kill the guy. Unless you suck so bad that you really need to shoot a thousand dollars worth of bullets to kill someone, and if you're a legit level 532, I doubt that applies to you.

Well let´s take it the opposite way:

 

I try to get a Bounty, afterwards I lent a cargobob, collect my ordered tank and place it on top of the Construction skyscrapper - I wait till Guys come and try to hunt me, this can take a whole hour maybe more - Most fun is to listen to them on my headset how they suddenly are seeing the tank on the roof and sh*t in their pants.

Sometimes they are up to 7-8 guys WHO try to get my Bounty - trust me, this is FUN!!

Very interesting some people do still Even if they are financially successful. Whether if it's for the thrill or just bored Or the hunt. It's nice some give the person who had the money a bit of the reward if they seem decent.

actually u can reach 110 million by doing missions from the first money wipe and grinding everyday and completely avoiding free roam. Also using some of ur 2014 tax return to buy a few shark cards. Lastly selling dubsta's Also help.

Is there something you wish to be added to the bounty hunting system? Perhaps more pay or different way how bounty is set And pursued?

 

More money, i think bounties need to be like 10k 15k 20k and 25k. It will be more interesting and fun.

If I join a lobby by myself and there are 3-4 bounties on the map, I'll go ahead and take them all down. Usually I'll drive my murdered out Jackal or something too and make a proper hitman type of deal out of it.

The last 5 bounties I've collected only required 2 shots. Two sniper kills and ran the other three over.

At 532 and sitting on 110 million I really don't see the appeal for bounties anymore. I just look at go meh at a 5k or 9k bounty. Lol even one time some guy challenged the whole lobby to take his 5k bounty and I wrote "im not spending any bullets on what ur worth". Which is true because for a 5k bounty or a 9k bounty isn't worth the pack of bullets.

 

Anyway bounty hunting has no appeal to anyone now maybe beginners as u can sell a dubsta and get twice more or just do lsc mission to get 25k.

 

I used to bounty hunt back in early days of Gta but not anymore as there's no appeal to me.

I bounty hunt about twice as much as I used to. I don't really play missions anymore since i got that golden Dubsta, and being able to sell a dubsta (21250) plus two large bounties (14000) and a simeon HPV perfect condition (9000) = 44,000 from dicking around in free mode without even having to join a mission. So, bounties pay for my "no more mission" life.

From a lot of these responses I can tell that you guys must a real riot at parties. I understand the theme of the game is money and heists but it seems to me you all lost sight of what's important about playing video games. Fun. The experience. It's fun to hunt other people. It's fun to race really fast cars. It's fun to jump out of planes. It's fun to interact with others in a virtual world. This whole "thats a waste of money" idea is ridiculous. Live a little guys. Change it up sometime. This game can be played a couple hundred different ways every time you load it up. The hell is the fun in staring over the virtual city in your virtual million dollar apartment hoarding your virtual money because you're afraid to lose a couple thousand having fun? sh*ts f*cked, bros.

I used to bounty hunt quite a lot when I was a broke, low level player, in order to earn some quick cash. Now that I'm rich these days, I only do it once in a while, if at all.

I do, and I don't care about the money. Right now I have only $1.5M, but still, if I wanted more money I'd do some missions. Anyway, I hunt bounties for fun. For example, a couple of weeks ago I joined a lobby with a bounty being chased by 4 or 5 guys with their Zentornos and other super cars all over the city. How could I resist to that?

It took a while, I also had to avoid some of the hunters who were trying to kill me but finally got him. It was only $5000 (actually $4500, I remember that one of the hunters killed me after getting the bounty) but it was worth it.

So yeah, I do it for fun.

Between the homing RPG and jets, this seems unlikely to work very long except against players who are either too new to the game to figure out how to kill you, or too lazy to bother.

I still bounty hunt. At 197 I'm broke half the time so a nice nine grand is welcome, easier than finding a baller sometimes. Bounties are also fun when they're on you, both situations add something to a boring lobby sometimes. It's good to be able to earn ammo money when you don't feel like doing missions etc.

i hunt them for the thrill and chase, hell i even steal pedestrian cars to get a bounty on me, i even ask other players to set one on me, so people can chase me, it almost always ends up bad for them tho.

The thrill of Bounty Hunting is probably the most fun I have in that game now since missions have all became clockwork. I'm not really concerned about stocking up my money because in real life I'm HORRIBLE with money so I spend frivolously and have all my properties, cars, weapons, etc with still some "pocket change" for when the next update comes out (if anything is offered... see what I did there?)

 

Other than that I realized Kill Targets and Armored Trucks rarely happen anymore which have decent payouts, wonder what happened with them?

I also have no problem blowing myself up and/or my own PV in the process to get a bounty. It's quite fun. Sure it's only a couple thousand for a bounty, but money is money.

Oh trust me, it is possible, I am lvl 380 and I am kind of good to "survive" for a long period. I can easily hide the floors underneath the top floor, if my tank should have broke Down. I am usually jumping out of the tank right before it exploids.
