Who still here bounty hunts?

Recommended Posts

At 532 and sitting on 110 million I really don't see the appeal for bounties anymore. I just look at go meh at a 5k or 9k bounty. Lol even one time some guy challenged the whole lobby to take his 5k bounty and I wrote "im not spending any bullets on what ur worth". Which is true because for a 5k bounty or a 9k bounty isn't worth the pack of bullets.

Anyway bounty hunting has no appeal to anyone now maybe beginners as u can sell a dubsta and get twice more or just do lsc mission to get 25k.

I used to bounty hunt back in early days of Gta but not anymore as there's no appeal to me.

There's more to bounty hunting or survival than money. Not everyone plays the game to see more zeros on their screen.

That maybe true furry. Maybe I do see zeros in my game and want to keep increasing my income more and anything that has a negative profit I don't participate in.

Even a $1000 bounty nets you more money than the cost of the bullets it'd take to kill the guy. Unless you suck so bad that you really need to shoot a thousand dollars worth of bullets to kill someone, and if you're a legit level 532, I doubt that applies to you. Edited by JRebbert512

I enjoy it because I have no interest in my bank account. It's often a good chase and has more excitement than the usual "gun and leg it" that you see from players most of the time.

It just makes a change to be in free roam and have a scrap with someone over something legitimate. I enjoy it because of that.

Call me cheap but I am very stingy with my money. Idk playing since launch changed how I play now and I have a mental income book always running when I play online. Edited by Quinn_flower

Kinda got the feeling that the point of this thread was to start a pissing contest.

Actually I'm curious to see who does still since most of us are high rank/wealthy. I gave my reason so I want to see what other say as well.

If one is right near me then I will go after it if i'm board or not doing something else, other than that I don't care anymore about them. It's just too much hassle for just a few thousand $$$$ when chances are your gonna get you car blown up in the processes.

Well let´s take it the opposite way:

I try to get a Bounty, afterwards I lent a cargobob, collect my ordered tank and place it on top of the Construction skyscrapper - I wait till Guys come and try to hunt me, this can take a whole hour maybe more - Most fun is to listen to them on my headset how they suddenly are seeing the tank on the roof and sh*t in their pants.
Sometimes they are up to 7-8 guys WHO try to get my Bounty - trust me, this is FUN!! :D

I had several people realy emptying pistol magazines like sh*t at me for a 1000 bounty and the same can be said about assault rifle wielding people just because i coud stretch the chase for atleast 30 minutes

not to mention people trowing stickies all over the place and destroying my entity and zentorno when i already left it with rpg's :)

As a citizen of that universe I feel like it's my duty to make Bountys feel unease. When I'm alone I almost always hunt Bountys even if they worth only a $1,000. Yesterday I killed 2 or 3. One of them was a super fun experience because I competed against another player who also wanted that kill & during the chase we killed each other & tried to kill each other several times. You never know what will happen when you start the chase.

I don't hunt cos I prefer to be on invite only. That way I purposely get bountys from npcs by stealing cars. It's an extra few grand every 48 hours, cos there's no one around to try and kill me. Prefer just playing missions, robbing shops, selling dubstas etc than being in public lobbies wasting ammo on other players.

I'm high rank wealthy, as you say, and I'll go after a bounty now and again when I pop into free roam and I see one on the map

I've only pursued one bounty.

It was for $3 billion.

Ah the good old days when a message popped up for a 2.1 billion bounty. Entire lobby chasing 1 guy oh man those were fun times

I swear the guy I killed for 2.1bn had a WTF look on his face too :D

"Find New Session" has never been selected so fast. And then the buying. So much buying.

I bounty hunt from time to time.

I don't do it for the money since my character is well off but sometimes it's fun to play a game of cat and mouse. Especially when it's a challenge.

However, after I've collected the bounty, and if the person put up a good fight, I'll share some of the money with them. Not too much, but always around $1000, sometimes $1500. I figured they deserve some of it since they had to literally dodge bullets.
