Jerking For Soup Posted February 11, 2015 Share Posted February 11, 2015 Just because I launched Black Ops the other day with the hopes to get onto a Moon match. Couldn't find sh*t. Went onto all the other DLC maps like: Der Riese, Nacht der Untoten, Shi No numa, Call Of The Dead, Kino, five. Nobody. Played a few solo matches and went onto Black Ops 2 Zombies, which everyone was playing that disgrace of a map TranZit, and nobody was playing Mob Of The Dead or Origins. I can't pay anyone on here to talk about BO zombies, and when someone finally starts a conversation, I totally miss it. I'll be honest with you bud, I was a huge fan of BO2 zombies, even Tranzit, LOL. I had BO1 but never played zombies. So when I finally got all the Easter Eggs done in all the BO2 maps, Richtofen side and Maxis sides to each. I was like, I need to play BO1 zombies now. So I even purchased the map pack they had avialible at the time which came with I think four zombie maps, I think it was $10 or $15, which was well worth four zombie maps. I had the same issue you are having today. No one was on, this was like a year and a half ago too. When I did finally find guys to play with, no one had a mic. No one would even consider doing any of the easter eggs. No one even knew how to play zombies in general. It was like they never played before, It was horrble. I did the same thing you did, played some solo matches and I pretty much gave up after that. It was a huge shame because the maps looked really good too. It's a shame, I know people do like this mode, judging by YouTube, but nobody plays it. When BO and WaW launched tons of people played the Zombie mode, now it's a ghost town. I hope after launch of Black Ops 3 or World At War II lots of people play it. I don't want this to become an afterthought. The weirdest thing is, when AW launched, everybody was playing Spec Ops or Exo Survival or whatever it's called and people are playing Exo Zombies but no one is going back to the original roots of the mode, eg: Moon, Der Riese, Nacht Der Untoten, even though those maps were better than Black Ops 2 and AW combined! I just hope to see remakes of maps in the future in BO3. I played all the Cod games from Finest Hour to MW3, left CoD after I first played MW3, and came back to CoD in AW. Black Ops was my favourite CoD game, for the simple reason was that it had the best Zombies, Good Multiplayer and Epic Story. All 2011 I played the heck out of the zombie mode and bought all the DLC. I recently bought BO2 for the simple reason that I was sick of never finding a WaW or Black Ops zombie match, and nobody is playing it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GTA_fear Posted February 12, 2015 Share Posted February 12, 2015 Well, in WaW on PS3 there is almost always someone playing Nazi Zombies. Not many, perhaps 100-ish people (with the asylum having the least, and Nacht der Untoten and Der Riese the most players), which always surprises me, considering the game's age and its MP popularity (which is 2 - 3 thousand averagely, I believe). I usually play Call of the Dead (the map with the ship and lighthouse?) but I agree, I rarely find a decent game, and when I do, the other players are either f*cking retarded, or don't move.
